"This was the worst place I ever had the displeasure of living in. The staff allows violent tenants, they don’t care if felons are hiding guns in their apartments and shooting/fighting on the premesis. Not a safe place to live. Druggies all over, they’re allowed to sleep on the tables and in the parking lot. Loud, noisy neighbors that no one will do anything about. We had guns pointed to our heads right at my door by the man in the apartment next to mine when I made a noise complaint about him. A police report was made, Charges were filed and the man turned out to be a fleeing felon. The staff did nothing to help me break my lease for safety and still allowed the man to live there, even after several noise complaints were made against him and police calls for various violent scenarios he was involved in. The girl up front named Karissa or something like that was extremely unhelpful and laughed and hung up multiple times when I was asking what I should do about the very violent neighbor and how I can break my lease due to major safety concerns. No they won’t let you break your lease for any reason at all, they’d rather you be attacked by another tenant and die on their premesis. If all of this isn’t enough, your car will be damaged and I didn’t have any air conditioning for the entire year that I lived there. Had to buy a cooler and stick it out of my window like everyone else. Maybe I should voice this on my social media with 8k+ New Mexican followers. This was never properly addressed and I’ve been dealing with them trying to get me to pay for an apartment I don’t live in for months."

"Living here has been great! The enormous job of maintaining the complex looks to be done quickly and efficiently. It's now been 6 months living here at Candlelight Square Apartments and I am still very happy here. I am retired and this is my first time living in an apartment. I really feel at home here, the place is managed and maintained to high living standards, safety and security, along with a nice sense of community! My only regret is that it took years to leave the big,.empty house, and a time and money pit because living here at Candlelight Square has really exceeded what I thought life in a . apartment would be. This is great! I love it here! Still 5 stars!"
