"Do not stay here. Felt unsafe due to so many homeless people everywhere. Our key cards never worked even after 4 or 5 times of it being reset. The maintenance man had to let us in. The second floor concrete where you walk on is slanted down so it looks like it’s going to break. Our room did not have a trash can or soap. The fire detector had been ripped off and there was a hole in the bathroom door."
"Front desk clerk - great. Over an hour to check in. 3 different rooms with either broken heater, door, no blankets, dirty bathroom, cracked walks & ceilings & floirs, burn holes in floor. Poorly maintained & poorly cleaned!!! Majority of Hotel guests: partyers, dealers, addicts, street hustlers & street dwellers. NOT SAFE. Constant activity and noise. Left after checking in do to noise, safety & poor sanitation. Tried this location after the same HORRIBLE experience last year at the Midtown location. AVOID ALL MOTEL 6 IN Albuquerque - all the same issues."
"The location right off the freeway was the reason I booked this and the fact that they accept pets. We gave our pet deposit cash and were given our keys promptly by the desk clerk. Upon getting to our room and opening the door, we were grrrted by several surprised faces to match our own. They tried to hide something and we quickly shut the door after apologizing. Went back down and was given another set of keys to a lower level room, which I appreciated because of my bad knee. Can you believe how surprised I was when the room was again occupied upon opening the door? Not sure what is going on here. Lack of mismanagement or system which is not applying rooms given out already and causing such awkward situations. Of course, after the second time I asked for a refund and having to try to rest at a truck stop after driving 16 hours that day. The typical great value I get when staying at a Motel 6 was not the case this time. The one good thing was that New Mexico has nice rest stops with restrooms."
"Absolutely horrible. The fire alarm went off twice during the night. The floor was sticky. It’s 19 degrees and the heater blows out cold air. There’s no trash can. There’s no cups or ice bucket. There’s no soap for washing and no washcloths. For the $65 they got out of me they are the worst Motel 6 I’ve ever been in."
