"When you arrive at the hotel, the outside is very aesthetically pleasing. Very well maintained hotel. They have a shuttle service to airport and you can use the shuttle to take you to places closeby. Not bad. Will keep this in mind for future trips. The gym looked clean and had water bottles for you as well. There is free breakfast or to go bag. The room was nice and warm when I went in which was perfect because outside was freezing! Heater works amazing! The cons, if you are not strong try to request a 1st floor room because there are no elevators here. If you dont have much luggage then you have a nice 2nd floor view. The rooms were a bit on the smaller side but had everything you need, a comfy bed, sofa chair, shower/tub, coffee maker, fridge, microwave. The only thing I would suggest is upgrading the desk chairs, they were a bit on the harder side. Pros: Free Shuttle service to airport and close vicinity Free Water bottle in gym Free breakfast or to go bag Warm room Cons: hard desk chair Small space No elevator Sometimes the side door does not work. Many times my card was not read."
"Nice hotel. Stayed here twice already on road trips to Arizona. First stay was with pets and honestly, the primary reason we chose to stay here over a cheaper stay elsewhere was because of whoever responds to reviews here on Google. In other posts below (with and without) pets some reviewers make outlandish complaints and whoever responds essentially tells them to F$&# off but in a polite way with actual facts. That's real! Businesses need more of this and I'll support any business willing to tell off snobs. As for our actual stays, the first time the bed was kind of hard but it was a pet room so expected. Second stay was without pets but it felt the same. We do however like soft beds. Food was typical and fine, not as good as a 4-star but way better than a 2-star. Second stay also had rude neighbors strolling in at 2:30 but not the hotels fault, just douche bag customers with no respect. Don't be like those people. Price- The sad truth is everything has sky rocketed in price. It hurts to pay $130+ for a one night (6-8 hour) stay but I'll pay it to feel safe in this location vs cheaper areas. Two pets cost us $40 and we have 50+lb huskies, no extra room charge cleaning fee because we know how to clean up if anything ever happens. Overall, 5 stars but it would be nice if this hotel (really all hotels) stopped buying cheap beds. That's really the most important part of a hotel stay, second something a little nicer with the food would really help BW to stand out and make the higher price feel more worth it."
"Unfortunately, I did not feel comfortable enough to stay the night at this hotel after arriving and checking out the room, which, to my disappointment, had stains on the mattress pad that looked like they could have been due to bed bugs. The hotel staff said they cancelled my reservation (which I appreciated), however, when I tried to get a refund from Expedia, they refused to honor my request because it was a non-refundable booking. That said, this is probably the worst Best Western hotel I have been in and I would not recommend it or book here again. There is no elevator. And, I DID NOT feel safe here. The room was nasty looking - dust on the lamps and just very low brow. Many of the folks in other rooms had their doors cracked open - perhaps to get fresh air? I felt like this was more like a motel than a hotel. However, I will say that maybe this is more reflective of Albuquerque than Best Western (although, they really should do better). I was passing through on a road trip, and the majority of the city that I saw during my brief time there seemed rife with homelessness, graffiti, and just a run down feel (although, to be fair, perhaps there are better parts that I did not see). Regardless, I would NOT stay at this hotel in the future and I would NOT recommend it - not even to someone on a budget. I would suggest skipping this city altogether or scraping together a little more money and staying at the Hilton Garden Inn a little ways away, which is what I did."
"Absolutely love staying here. We ALWAYS ask for the Presidential suite. It has a jacuzzi in the bedroom!! It's always clean and the bed is comfortable. Great staff and they usually let you check in a little earlier. You also get a discount if you are a rewards member. Besides the shampoo and conditioner that are provided, they have makeup towelettes. Love this place."
"We stayed here two nights, so we interacted with the day staff and night staff twice each. While the rooms could use some updating and periodic deep cleaning, we felt this stay was a good value. The surface clean level was acceptable, the staff was very friendly and professional. In fact, the staff was actually great. They also include a hot breakfast, which is nice. They’re extremely close to the airport and it only took a few minutes for a shuttle to come and get us. That shuttle was a great convenience."
