"Great place to stay in the ABQ area, super close to the airport, but super easy access to the rest of town, too. The staff is amazing. we received such a warm welcome, so nice to arrive at a hotel tired after a long day, and get such a lovely genuine welcome. The breakfast was nicely done, with a good spread of options. It's great to have good, hard-boiled eggs in the shell! The only reason I gave 4 in stead of 5 stars was that the bathroom was very small. it's nice to have the sink on the outside, and the shower was good, but there wasn't much room to maneuver. Highly recommend"
"I try not to give bad reviews, especially if the problems are solved, but I've been checked out for 2 weeks now with no resolution. It's such a long story I'll try to consolidate. 1- We had no service our first day, which is fine. I didn't request any. 2 - Second day we had towel and trash done. That morning my daughter had left her $200 earbuds on the desk. When we got back, the case was there but the earbuds were gone. We searched everywhere and we are 100% positive she left the earbuds in the case because she didn't want to take them to the track meet. 3- Went straight up and reported it to Lisa who told me the HK manager would call me on Thursday when she came back in. 4 - Thursday - no call. So I called HK manager on Friday. She said she would investigate and get back to me. 5 - Following Tuesday still no call back - so I called corporate who said they would escalate it and send it to Executive Management and I should give them 3 days to email me or call me. 6 - Following Saturday- still no call back or email. So I called corporate again and she told me that she had received an email from Chad the Executive Manager, that very same day I called corporate, and that he told corporate the hotel had reached out to me and said they looked for and couldn't find the lost item and that if they found them they would get in touch with me. First of all, they weren't lost. They were stolen. That was a lie from Chad, I received no email, nor did I receive a phone call. Corporate said they couldn't do anything because it needs to be handled at the hotel level, that they are just coordinator between us. She asked if I'd like to have Chad call me and I said Yes!. 7 - Today is Thursday and I still have yet to hear from Chad. So with my experience, this hotel steals, covers up and lies and I will never go to a Hyatt hotel again. And I wouldn't recommend Hyatt Place Albuquerque Airport to anyone. UPDATE** Well apparently they can respond to a review and still lie. In response to your reply, Lisa never reached out to me about the earbuds until I reviewed them with their survey and she had to respond because Medallia makes them. She never said anything about the earbuds except that she had routed it to the correct department, Housekeeping. Housekeeping hasn't done anything. The last I spoke to them, the HK manager was going to call me back and investigate. That was 2 days after I checked out. Still have never heard from her or the GM, Chad, who told corporate he had talked to me. Yet corporate tells me he did. So still, no one has reached out to me about the stolen earbuds. They were 1000% there when we left in the morning and 1000% gone from the case when we returned that night. If you have a problem with Hyatt hotels, don't bother calling corporate either because they were just as incompetent as the staff at Hyatt Place Albuquerque Airport. Stay away!"
"When I book it said it had a microwave and it didn't I was charge $10 per night for a microwave that was supposed to already be included in the room I stay for 7 days and was charge $70. While I was in the room eating 2 roaches walked on the table (gross).Front desk employees where all but happy to ignore people and pretend they didn't hear when customer where talking to them. The male that runs the breakfast would constantly ignore people when told something was running low walk right by them Without even acknowledging them. On top of having to pay $70 to rent a microwave I also had to pay $10 a day for parking. Overall horrible experience will NEVER stay at HYATT again not worth the money. Staff definitely needs to work on their people skill and customer service. The only employees who where helpful and nice where the housekeeper."
"The room was nice enough, bed was comfortable and breakfast subpar but free. The surprise $16 parking ticket I received after my one night stay was a deal breaker. I've never stayed at or heard of a hotel that gives it's guests a parking ticket! I was later told by staff that there is a $10 nightly parking charge that isn't listed or mentioned during the check in process, administered by a 3rd party. It would be simpler just to drop the 3rd party and charge the room for parking like nearly every other hotel does that charged for parking. The front desk was not helpful and took me quite some time to resolve via the 3rd party parking police. Not a great experience."
"Hotel location: literally 3 mins from Sunport airport! Alot of places to eat and attractions only up to 15 to 20 mins away from the hotel by car. But the staff were all very polite and welcoming! Even the cleaning staff. Everyone was pleasant. The hotel is clean and well maintained. There is a bar and a kitchen that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner until 11pm. And they were ungoing construction while I was there, but you couldn't really tell. They were quiet, and the construction areas were even neat and maintained, lol. It was pretty quiet, although every night, a kid was stomping over my head, but what are you gonna do! Kids gotta be kids! The pool and spa appeared to be well maintained, although I only strolled by. I never went there the weekend I stayed. My room was awesome. I loved everything about it. The bed was huge and just comfy. The right amount of blanket and pillows. The bathroom was sleek and modern. The front desk receptionist advised me upon arrival, I was in an updated room. The water pressure and shower temperature were perfect! The room contained a microwave an a small fridge, which was helpful. I used them and they worked great! Also, I had an awesome view of mountains and the city from my room! I will be returning."
