"Great views and location! Loved the condo, 1bed, 1.5 bath. For some reason our parking stall had the same car permanently parked and wrapped in it. We didn't bother to check why and parked by an uncovered parking space. The beach club/restaurant is going through a renovation. I didn't see a pool or hot tub, didn't check, didn't look. My wife pointed out it was a couple buildings down from our location after we got home."
"We've stayed at Mauna Lani Point a number of times and have always loved our stay. We try to rent a condo with the golf course & ocean views. It's a gated community with covered parking. You also have access to a private beach, which is also gated. The beach is in a cove so the waters always calm. There's also a fantastic restaurant next to the beach."
"First and foremost service from Marvallee and team was excellent. They deserve all the kudos which is why the extra star. However, At the end of the day, our condo was so outdated with old couches with lifeless cushioning and an awful pull out bed that caused back aches for my kids. Also, an outdated kitchen that hasn’t been updated in 20 years that looked NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES ON THE HYATT SITE during booking. It is absolutely a bait n switch / oversell on the quality of the property. The only reason we weren’t livid and calling Hyatt customer care to move us was because the staff was very friendly and the exterior campus and facilities outside our condo were beautiful with immaculate landscaping. The private beach club access was very welcome too that comes with staying at Mauna Lani. That is not how $1000 a night room/condo should feel. It’s not fair and it deceptive to the buyer based on pictures that we’re posted. To me, Hyatt intentionally deceived us in booking here which we wouldn’t have done if we were given an honest look at the property. It’s unfair and bad policy for our favorite hotel chain that we loved the most. Very poor experience in our minds. Other pluses were that the bed and pillows in the bedroom were comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, and the condo was otherwise very well maintained - just dated and old. The common areas are well done: The pool area and hot tub area with the separate grills and dining space was very nicely done too."
"Wonderful property. Our party stayed in 2 units, a 1 bed/1.5 bath, and a 2 bed/2.5 bath. Both were wonderful, clean and comfortable. The pool was great and we hardly had anyone there at the same time. The beach club was perfect with lounge chairs and trees for shade. The restaurant was expensive but great for convenience. Will definitely stay again."
"We rented a VRBO condo on the south golf course. Lovely location and the homes are beautiful. Beach access nearby. Just depends on what you are looking for. If you want a kitchen and some solitude this place is perfect. If you like the resort atmosphere check out the hotel Mauna Lani"
