Walnut Trails Apartments 1813 Trailway Drive, Eagan, MN 55122

"Having lived here a number of years I must say it's different from other regular apartments. Walnut Trails has a more community feel. Each unit has outside access, no long indoor hallways like you live in a hotel. Maintenance staff bends over backwards to get things fixed and are respectful to residents. Quiet, secluded community. Snow removal wasnt good 2 winters ago but after residents complained, the staff/management fixed the issue and hired a different company. This past winter was good. My biggest perk here would have to be letting my daughter go play at the playground and not having to worry about her."

"It's an older style apartment complex, though they have updated a lot of units. It's fairly affordable, so its one of those "you get what you pay for," kind of situations. Snow removal is definitely an opportunity, though if you see the layout you can kind of understand the struggle. That being said, the staff is on point! The maintenance guy was always there with an hour or so if we had any issue. There was a problem with our furnace during January, we called late at night and he was there within 20 minutes with 2 portable heaters just in case, and was able to fix our problem! The office staff was always friendly and kept us up to date on any issues."

"If I could give it half a star I would. The worst and I mean the worst property staff management company I have ever experienced! That staff are rarely around, maintenance requests take 2-3 weeks for a broken heater in MN, don’t even get me started on the AC. I would highly recommend staying away from this place and anything associated with this place! They don’t plow for days! And say it’s an inconvenience based on how much snow is received. Cops at the complex every other night. Chris is unresponsive and only responds when feels the need too. Place is run down, even the updated units (LOL) are a rip off with cheap fixes and the washers n dryers never work! Would never recommend this place or any place affiliated with this place to anyone! You’d be better off in a homeless shelter than Walnut Trails."

"Unfortunately the snow removal process is a rather slow process. Got to come home the day after the snowstorm to shovel out the public parking in order to park. Period. Also the remodel looks good at first but the walls are just pitted beyond repair and you start to realize how rushed the remodel must’ve been. Also, if you live above the garage doors then prepare to hear the noisy garage door openers at all hours of the day. Otherwise good location."
