"Stay away from Aster House Apartments! Their service is abysmal—there's no phone line to call for help, and their office is always mysteriously closed. Good luck trying to report any maintenance issues! The place is a dump, with trash everywhere. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to live!"

"This morning I was told that I cannot park in visitor parking to save my significant other a parking spot until he got there with a parking permit in my window so my car was towed . The landlord lied and said there a visitor addendum that it was in my lease which it was not because we never had a visiting parking until now then she proceeds to say if my fiancé wants to park over here, he can put his name on the lease. Being rude I never said my fiancé. Also, she made a statement that I should not even have two vehicles on the property even though I pay for underground parking, so one car is underground one the other cannot have a permit which I do have a permit. Overall landlord rude and disrespectful and wouldn’t admit to her wrongdoing of my car that has a resident permit being towed, my car has been broken in 4 times and storage unit once. There’s homeless people everywhere in the building sleeping!! This is not a safe environment apartment for anyone to live! I been here two years an pay my rent faithfully 1308 - the maintenance never last and fix nothing I am moving as soon as possible it is not worth living here and dealing with the problem it comes with! You will not be safe your property will not be safe you will not get your maintenance request done! The building is dirty! Just 0-0"

"UPDATE 11/21/2023 Things have been fantastic from my perspective over the last few months. I haven't met the new manager and from what I can tell, she knows what she's doing. The facility is shaping up well. It's cleaned consistently, most tenants have respect for the place, and management seems to have a good handle on making sure things remain safe and secure. The garage was recently deep cleaned, the carpets have almost zero stains, and our maintenance man, Rick, is friendly and super helpful! My only issue is the trash and recycling get backed up and I've caught them mixing recycling in with the trash. Which completely negates the time we spend preparing our recycling, of course. Being a lifetime resident of Eagan for 45+ years and a founding tenant here at AsterHood, I can say this is somewhere may want to consider living. **if this review has been helpful, please smash the thumbs up ;-)"

"I feel compelled to share my recent experience with the new manager, Mandy. Unfortunately, it appears that I'm not alone in my concerns, as multiple tenants have expressed similar grievances. Mandy's communication style has been consistently rude, and her tone often comes across as condescending when interacting with residents. This behavior has raised significant discomfort among many of us. Professionalism and respectful communication are essential aspects of a positive living environment, and it's disheartening to witness a departure from these standards. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and addresses the issue promptly to ensure a harmonious and respectful community for all residents."

"EDIT 2: I finally received my deposit 10/16 but it was the wrong amount. After talking to the property manager AGAIN (still very rude) I contacted corporate. After leaving several voicemails, I decided to email them where I got a quick response. I spoke with Amy and she was really great at figuring things out for me and responding quickly. After the stress I had dealing with this I really appreciate her kindness. EDIT: I moved out 8/31 and STILL don’t have my deposit as of 10/9. I talked to the new property manager who was incredibly rude and unprofessional to me when I mentioned that they now owe me double my deposit. I was told it was sent out 9/28 and have yet to receive it. This place doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. They’re very unprofessional and rude here. Multiple times I’ve tried calling and emailing the management with no response. Moving out has been a nightmare. I went to turn in my key and they claimed my apartment was dirty and tried bullying me into cleaning it more. They claimed they were going to get back to me with the ‘charges’ they were going to do but have yet to hear back from. The only good thing they are good at is responding to the reviews. The management is rude to their own employees. The apartments were cheaply put together. It’s a waste of your time coming here. Please don’t suffer like I did, there are better properties out there."
