"The maintenance guys are great. Really friendly and they really work hard to help you as fast as they can in this chain supply hell."
"HORRIBLE place! The staff won’t help you with anything if you want your money back! The staff literally hung up on me!!! If you don’t have tons of money to waste, don’t move here."
"I strongly discourage anyone from living here or renting from the company that owns this building. I lived here for two years in two separate units and I'm confident that this is the worst company I've ever rented from. You can look forward to all sorts of unexpected fees. This place was advertised to me as having utilities included, but several months into my first lease they changed their mind and started billing me approximately $45/month extra. At one point, they were being fined by the city for improper trash disposal (because they only paid waste management for 2 residential sized bins for an entire apartment building) and they wrote an email threatening to pass the cost of these fines along to residents. They're experts at coming up with bogus reasons to keep your deposit. I didn't get either of my $300 deposits back. Also, safety is a large concern in this building. I've had my lock clipped and my bike stolen from the parking lot, and numerous packages stolen from inside the building (there is no secure package holding area). Multiple times in the last two years I've seen mysterious strangers hanging out in the hallway using electricity, I suspect these people were homeless. Also, somebody got shot here once and crashed their car into the fence behind the building, so that was fun. Management is also generally slow to respond to maintenance requests. When I first moved in, my bedroom had no window shades, and the window itself was actually bolted shut. It took about three weeks for someone to come and install some shades, and a few weeks after that for them to actually get someone to open the window. This was in August and it made my bedroom uncomfortably hot to sleep in. The only thing that I'd list as a positive for this apartment is the location. This is a good area to live in if you're a student at the U of M or if you work in Minneapolis, but really that's the only positive I would list. Even so, the location does not outweigh the overwhelming cons. Unless you truly have nowhere else to rent from, I would recommend you live anywhere else."
"Management very helpful!"
"They are trying to extort me out of money. Do not live here."
