"Update: The Manager Conner McDonald solved the room issue for us on Tuesday as he stated. We really appreciate his flexibility and thoughtfulness. We stay at room 225. It’s right next to the fitness room. When someone is running on the treadmill or lifting/dropping weights, the wall/floor of the room is shaking. I feel that we are staying at a construction site instead of a hotel room. The hotel is not able to move us to other rooms as it is fully booked. Also the hotel manager Tamala Miller refused to put a notice on the fitness room to refrain other guests from using the treadmill between 11pm to 7am before they find us another room. So all other guests have their rights to exercise at midnight or 5am. Why can’t we get some peace in the room that we paid for? I’m suspicious that the manager pick us to stay in this problematic room because we are Asian and we are ‘quiet’ when we get bullied. We need the hotel to provide us a resolution as soon as possible."
"The accommodations were nice. However, the lack of a lounge and complimentary breakfast (which was $19... everything was cold, and the coffee was more grounds than coffee), reduces the odds of me staying here again."
"This hotel was OK but not worth the price. The room was clean but small. The bathroom sink was basically in the room. The tiny closet that the toilet and shower are in have walls with clear glass lines in them that you can see right through. The sliding door to the toilet room has a 1" gap so that you can also see right in from the bed. I've been married for 15 years but my wife and I still don't really have any desire to see each other on the toilet. I'm not sure how it would work if you were staying with a friend and you can just look through the clear glass lines on the shower wall and see them showering. Awkward at the very least. We got free breakfast with our reservation. It was OK but normally would have been about $17 per person which it definitely isn't worth that. It seems similar to most buffet continental breakfasts that are included for free at a lot of large hotel chains. Staff was all very friendly and helpful."
"For being a Marriott hotel, I was pretty unimpressed. $270 for a basic 2 bed room + parking for one night. The hotel itself is beautiful inside, and it was a very central location. The staff were friendly and helpful when I was double charged for parking. The shower is nice. The room was clean-ish, and had both firm and soft pillows (which I very much appreciate). That's about where the positives end. Very few amenities in the room and hotel. The room was austere. Awful towels. Thin bedding and mattress. There were two glasses for use in the mini fridge, one of which was covered in something sticky and orange. And the lighting in the room/bathroom was painfully dim. Also there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, which wasn't a huge problem, but I definitely found it odd. All in all, wouldn't recommend or stay again."
"Rooms look stylish but the bed is weirdly uncomfortable to sleep on. The comforter is super light and I struggled to keep it on without slipping away. The worst thing though is the noise of the AC. It is loud and irritating. I hardly slept during my stay here. The walls are also super thin. I could here snoring from the adjacent room. Definitely not coming back. The Element (also by Marriott) which is about 1/2 mile away is a much better option."
