"Not a thing to complain about from my side after living here over half a year. From what I can tell I don't have much for neighbors surrounding me or even above me currently so no sound complaints here. Very attentive management, awesome building, apartment and appliances are all fantastic, I would recommend this place."

"The apartment building is very adorable, I love my unit, the gym is nice, but the walls are incredibly thin. Sound travels easily, and you can hear absolutely everything from your neighbors—footsteps, conversations, opening and closing of closets and drawers, vacuuming, even their TV and music. It's especially bothersome if your neighbors are heavy walkers. Unfortunately, the management's response has been only limited to sending noise reminders, and the issue persists. Sleepless nights due to stomping neighbors until late or early morning hours have been a regular occurrence. The thin walls have made my living here unpleasant, and I won't be recommending this place. I'm eager to move out as soon as my lease is up."

"I moved in during summer and my experience here has been decent. Taylyn has been wonderful and exceptionally helpful. However, there were some minor issues with the application process due to the system. The move-in process was super easy and straightforward. My primary con is the lack of sound insulation in the apartments. I have to use earplugs to still only partially block out the noise from neighboring units. I can practically hear everything, which can be very disruptive. If your neighbor is awake and moving around at 5am, you'll be awake too, and if they're up until 1am, you'll be as well. While I've lived in other apartment complexes before, I've never encountered such thin walls that allow you to hear your neighbors' conversations. Nonetheless, if this doesn't bother you, it's a fantastic place to reside!"

"The management/leasing staff have gone above and beyond for me throughout this process and every interaction has been great so far! I’m a few years out of college, so I wanted something a bit nicer/upgraded while still being close to things on weekends. The building is in a cute little neighborhood but is only a couple minutes away from tons of restaurants and cute places, and also has walking paths along the river nearby. Taylyn has been especially wonderful to work with- she did my tour and has been the main person I’ve been in touch with, but I also talked to someone else before I toured and he was also great. I was torn between this apartment and a very popular apartment not too far away (the name starts with an “O”) but went with Huck because of how amazing their communication was right off the bat. After touring, Taylyn was so sweet and sent over photos of the two units I was looking at, as well as dimensions for me since I’m moving from out of state. They also were willing to negotiate a longer lease for me and overall were super accommodating and welcoming compared to the other apartment building I was deciding between. The application process online was a little glitchy, but again, Taylyn followed up and was able to attach my application to the unit right away. After looking at what feels like every apartment in Minneapolis, I would 100% recommend Huck (or Sawyer) so far!"

"This place is awesome! Brand new building in a beautiful location! This is a very safe and charming neighborhood. The building is super cute. The gal up front, I think her name is Taylyn, has been helpful and nice!"
