Gurley Lofts

"My roommates and I absolutely loved our time at Gurley Lofts (2 years)! Our unit was spacious with tall ceilings and beautiful windows that let in so much natural light. It was also very quiet in that you could barely hear your neighbors, which is a bonus in an apartment building. It is also in a great location - close to the walking trails along the Mississippi, some of my favorite restaurants (Bar La Grassa, Snack Bar, Butcher & the Boar, etc.), and you can get on the highway very quickly without being too close to the noise. The management team is very responsive and helpful, as is the maintenance team (especially Greg!). I did not necessarily see this as a downside, but there are limited amenities. They do have a small gym and shared community space, but seldom did I ever use either. I highly recommend living at Gurley!"

"I loved living at the Gurley Lofts! The location is perfect and surrounded by bike trail, bars, and restaurants. The walls are thick so you can’t hear a peep from your neighbors. The windows are stunning and provide so much natural light you’ll hardly ever flip a light switch! While I was a tenant, a new company took over management of the property. Mike and Nancy led the new management team were absolutely lovely to work with. The few times an issue did arise, Mike and Nancy were prompt and went above and beyond to make things right. The maintenance lead, Greg P., is hands down the BEST maintenance man a person could ask for. He truly cares so much about the tenants and did everything possible to ensure we were happy. If it wasn’t for the fact I was moving states, I would have never rented anywhere else! If you’re looking for somewhere to live in the North Loop, I highly recommend you live in the Gurley Lofts!"

"Rent is high. Problems with water leaking and AC rarely works in summer. Covered parking is a block away and inconvenient, especially considering the price. Office staff is unhelpful and borders on rude."
