"Don't move y'all. That building has a fire alarm problems. The alarm goes off almost every other days, at night, early in the morning ( currently writing my review at 3 am because I can not sleep bc of the alarm) like whenever. And I had multiple packages stolen from that building. That building is not very safe. Early in the morning when i am leaving for work sometimes you can see homeless in the lobby hanging out. Fix the alarm guys. Some people like me have anxiety and trust me you are not helping us. Plus this is the worst crack roaches case I ever seen in my life and trust me I am from Brooklyn NYC. I am moving out and I can't wait."

"I was a tenant with Mac Properties from 2018-2023. I've lived in another building and then in the Ambassador on different floors. I will not give my name but being a tenant for 5 years here, it really feels like they do not care about their tenants and only money. If you value your income and sanity, DO NOT MOVE HERE OR WITH MAC PROPERTIES. They Airbnb the units, your packages WILL get stolen, and they'll rob you of your money for arbitrary things. Every bad thing you think of with the "scummy landlords" stereotype is true in this case! In 2020, I moved into the ambassador. It was fine at first but then my packages started getting stolen. Really expensive packages too, I had a package worth $250 get stolen and they told me no when I asked if they could check the cameras. Funny how the cameras suddenly worked for when people were (and still are) smoking cigarettes in the stairwell. Speaking of which, the fire alarms weren't an issue at first. but then it was just happening everyday, every month. Do not believe them that they solved the issue. They haven't. Even before we moved out, they would still go off, sometimes for longer than 30 minutes, multiple times in the day. Also I would smell cigarette smoke in my unit coming from the vents. I have pets and as someone who quit smoking, it was terrible. I worry it will affect the health of my pets in a few years. Speaking of moving, once we were on track with moving out, employees would suddenly speak to us as if we were troublesome tenants with very short responses even though we always paid rent on time every month for 5 years. Also the elevators are ALWAYS breaking down. As a disabled person, this is extremely frustrating cause of my bad knees; stairs aren't doable for me. Maintenance...... OH BOY, they did not take care of the buildings well at all. There is a REALLY bad roach problem here and I'm from a major city where roaches are common, this was significantly worse. I'm sure whatever attracted the roaches, will eventually attract rats. Its actually insane that my unit was $1.1k, no parking lot, no guarantee your packages wont get stolen, fire alarms going off almost every week, roaches everywhere, random people airbnb'ing, people pissing in the elevator, people smoking cigarettes inside, and so much more! Also for any Mac Property employee who is being ordered to respond to these reviews with the same copy and pasted response: Don't even bother, I will not speak to any employee there ever again or even want to deal with y'all. This review is for anyone thinking about moving here. Save your money and sanity, move literally anywhere else."

"DON’T MOVE IN HERE! The apartment is horrible! Had my clothes stolen out of the dryer, filed a complaint in June Mac has yet to reach out. Just today I had my clothes thrown out of the dryer for no reason all over the floor. Drunk people are in and out of this building constantly. I’ve had drunk people try and start fights with me People have peed in the elevator! Mac doesn’t care. The fire alarm goes off all the time. Customer service sucks! I will be leaving as soon as possible and if these things wouldn’t bother you feel free to move in. I’d rate it 0 if it was possible. Putting up with all this with my 8 month old baby is terrible. Can’t wait to leave."
