"I lived there over two years, management is super!!!, close to plaza area and UMKC. Only reason subtracting one star is the building is over hundred years old and not the best place for kids under 5. My kid's lead test was positive and office staff took necessary action to clean and repatch paint chipping areas, but this should be handled by proffesional team to remove those lead hazards completely. Anyway overall it was good"

"I lived here for two years and I can say that the biggest benefits were the location being near West Plaza and the kindest of one of the leasing manager’s. The rest of my living experience was very unsatisfactory. From the many large roaches that were in the building to washers not working. If you do plan on living here I can almost PROMISE you will not get your deposit back in full even if you had professional cleaning done before (which I did, yet was still charge a $65 carpet cleaning charge). Overall the pricing is nice, but just know you will have many inconveniences - parking being one as it difficult to get a spot near your building unit (I parked a few streets over at another parking garage where I paid to park underground), water being shut-off often due to maintenance often, or passive-aggressive messages about closing the doors in the building because the scare about people coming into the building that don’t live there…. Which is concerning if it’s own…. THE BIGGEST inconvenience I can say is that if you order things online ALMOST always you’ll be having to fit the inconvenience of time and apartment’s staff’s schedule to get your packages as it only goes to the main building instead of going to your building’s complex (unless it’s to heavy or inconvenient for the leasing office to house the item…. Which…. The inconsistency in the process is confusing and frustrating as I found myself asking about a package and it’s not there because they put it in my unit without notifying me). Overall I’m giving 2 stars as a review here as the ease of applying and getting a unit were good but the many inconveniences make it stressful and understood why you’re paying the price that you pay to live there."

"I've really enjoyed living here over the past 15 months. The front office staff has been super nice to me and maintenance is completed extremely quickly. I had an issue with my stove and I had a brand new one replaced and installed within an hour. They've called ahead of time and got my approval to have individuals tour my apartment. Lots of really friendly people in Rousseau, Cezanne too. The only downside (not their fault) is parking which is less than ideal and the options are a bit pricey or far away. If you don't come and go often in the evenings its no big deal though. Would recommend to friends"

"I like the area and the leasing office is really nice. They don’t tell you there isn’t any street parking and beware of your car getting broken into. You have to pay for a spot in the parking lot or get a spot in the garage. I don’t like going to the basement for laundry because there are always huge bugs. They keep the building very clean and quick with repairs. Neighbors are very nice. So I’d recommend it if you like being close to the city life."
