"Good Afternoon, I would like to begin this email with a notice of recognition. One of things I notice about our culture today, is that we don’t do enough of the following. We don’t share good news, we don’t tell people they are doing a great job, we don’t say please and thank you enough, or even mumble the words I see you, I appreciate the amazing things you do to make life easier for me, or even say thank you, for understanding and being kind. Sunday, August 27 I was preparing to go to church as I was getting ready to leave to go to my car, the door that is attached to my garage was not opening, confused at what was happening I was complexed, because I never had a reason to lock the locks, trying my best to open the door locking it and unlocking going back in forth, I panicked because I couldn’t get into my garage to get to my car to go to church. I ended up calling the office leaving a message at 7:47am, at 7:50 promptly I had a call back, only to be greeted by a cheerful voice. “ Good Morning Cathy! “ it David the maintenance guy. I explained my dilemma he said very kindly and patiently I will be there soon. At 8:25 am my doorbell rang, I thought wow that was fast! David immediately solved the problem and told me that the spring had broke on the inside and that’s what was causing the door to lock and not open. He told me that he would be back on the next day which was Monday to install the new locks, he asked where would I preferred to pick my keys up at first I said the office I thought for a moment I said you could just leave them on my steps, we both agreed that’s what he would do. David followed up the very next day, to let me know that the complex didn’t have any locks available and that he would order one and notify me when it get’s in, On Tuesday the locked arrived he said he could come install it, but I hadn’t left the bottom lock unlocked for entry. We scheduled it for the following day which was yesterday Wednesday. David notified me of his entry and exit, he even sent me a picture of the completed work and where he left my keys. All day long I was sharing this story about David in meetings, with staff, co-workers even at my board meeting. I was so impressed with his customer service, his timeliness, he took pride in his job and he represented his organization with kindness & integrity. His communication and follow through was impeccable, something you don’t see these days. We spend the majority of our work days complaining about what’s wrong, what didn’t work, and numbers, but rarely do we look up and say what’s right, what’s good. Today, I want to take a moment and say what is good, David is man that I see value in and I wanted his employer to know I see good in him, an ethical young man who takes his job seriously, he demonstrates, professionalism and kindness communicates effectively, he is truly an asset to our living community at Fox Homes Manor Crest & Morgan Group. With all sincerity I would like to say Thank you David, a job well done, what might seems small to some this is huge for me, service is key, David demonstrated service with excellence. "I've lived here for almost 5yrs.. its a really nice place to live, its pretty quiet around here. Maintenance are always really fast at taking care of any concerns. My dog loves to go on walks on the walking trail on property or Line Creek Trail that is not even a block from my apartment. I don't need too fancy of a place to live but the attached garage is a huge plus! I don't have to warm up my car or scrape it anymore! I drive right into my garage and I'm home."
"I really enjoy living at Fox Crest. My neighbors are wonderful, the staff is excellent, and I love all the trails and amenities in the area. Any kind of service issue is always responded to rapidly. During winter snowstorms, the streets and sidewalks are always cleared really quickly, which makes a big difference to me as a walker. Several neighbors have dogs, which is wonderful to me, and the staff does a good job making sure everyone cleans up after their pets which is great again as a walker. There's a convenient system for receiving packages via secure lockers in the mailroom. Communication about service updates and maintenance is consistent and makes life predictable. I have an ebike and a Onewheel, and it's hard to overstate the value of having the Line Creek Trail and 152 Trail within reach. The Line Creek Trail is an amazing KC amenity for bikers that makes it easy to put in 15+ miles through woods and along a creek, away from traffic, and living at Fox Crest that is basically right off my doorstep."
"Be sure to ask to see the ACTUAL apartment home before move in (NOT THE DEMO) and DO NOT sign the lease or money order before you see where you will actually be living! (Note- I asked twice to see the unit beforehand and was told "it wasn't ready yet.") My move in experience was not good. Despite this apartment complex looking beautiful outside and in an amazing area. I was provided with a run down, outdated, shoddy and dirty apartment upon my move in last Friday 8/11/23. The unit they wanted me to move in appeared to be the previous apartment of maybe a leasing agent or maintenance worker from the property. I was completely heartbroken and paid them in a money order for over $2,400.00. Once I notified them that I was not satisfied with the unit, they offered to give my money back (money orders) that CANNOT be cashed after the payee has been written on the money order. I asked for them to deposit the money order so that I can get a check from the property to move into somewhere else and was told "unfortunately we cannot deposit your money order." This was the WORST experience ever for a move in. I learned a valuable lesson, do not trust their word, looks can be deceiving, DEMAND to see your actual unit and DO NOT sign the money order or lease until satisfied. I am currently out of a $395 admin fee that they told me I forfeited AND waiting on a refund for up to 30 days for the $2,400 in move in fees. I am DISGUSTED with how they handled me, my money and the situation and would not recommend this community or Morgan Group Property Management. Please do your research first and do not be FOOLED! You have been warned."
"Great neighborhood, Line creek trail is wonderful for walking and biking. Staff here is great. I have never had a problem getting anything fixed even on a weekend when my air conditioning went out this summer. Aly is great in the office and the property is very clean."
