Dean River Apartments

"I have lived at Dean River for almost 2 months now, and I have had a positive experience so far. My main maintenance issue was resolved thouroughly, and Grayson the PM has been very helpful with any questions I have had."

"Tenants with pets let them poop on the sidewalk and do not pick it up. The laundry is full of dog and cat hair in the washers and dryers. Cops have been called on tenants frequently due to loud parties or domestic incidents. Evictions left and right. Gym equipment being stolen, packages stolen. The only thing that happens when you complain is a “community rules” email gets sent out. Not to mention the months we had homeless people constantly sneaking in and rummaging through the garbage in the garage. Random fire alarms though the night. Oh and property foreclosure notices on our doors and in our mail boxes. It’s a very insecure stay here. Sadly. It was such a beautiful complex when I first moved in."

"Pleasant experience moving in other than the work on the fourth floor cause me a few falls, when your holding boxes and you can’t see or remember the floor ahead of you, down you go, so that wasn’t good for the move. Worker are walking around you while your moving again something you can’t help live with at this time but not a plus so I can not give five stars. The common area can get messy but for long you have a great cleaning crew. I do love that I see the cleaning crew constantly around cleaning during common area that a great plus!"

"Would rate lower if I could. Management changed SIX TIMES in the year and a half my family lived here. there were violent incidents where a neighbor banged on every door on my floor issuing threats & management did not care, the washers & dryers in the laundry room would CONSTANTLY break, the “secure” doors to the back & front entrance would often be broken or smashed in allowing anyone to be able to walk into the building. Do NOT waste your money or time here. It is an unsafe overpriced establishment."

"So far, I’ve had a really nice experience living at Dean River. Autumn has been very prompt with any concerns or accommodations I’ve requested. She’s also just a lovely person to talk to. Great combination of professional and personable. My only concerns I have are with some cosmetic issues with the building. For it being such a new space, I would love it more attention was paid to a couple broken windows in the garbage room. That being said, I’m sure those concerns can easily be addressed. Great apartment!"
