"I drove over there to see a 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom apartment to get an idea of the size. Google said they were open at 9, however when I got to the complex at around 9:55 there was no time on the Saturday spot. There was something on the door saying they would be back at 10 so I waited. After 10 minutes I called and the automated message stated they opened at 10, however at this point they were still not open. I waited another 40 minutes and no one showed up, no one answered the phone, nothing. I don't understand how something can be run like this. This is abysmal and honestly in the world of customer service, unacceptable. If you are thinking of moving here I would not expect anything because clearly your time is not valuable to them"
"Great Area, great low income apartments. Completely understand the business side of things, but it's low income... So upping rents.. I think harder about, for the people that are being hit the hardest by everything economically. My opinion. I would live here for sure, but without anything new being done, no renovations for the units that are already occupied, rents are still going up. No new amenities, park is not great and basketball court isn't either. It's hard enough for people to be paying equivalent to someones mortgage on 'low income'. Not to sound complaintive, because I'm sure the business side of things, including the governments assitance for the properties ownership, has their reasons. Plus, their pockets must be getting hit from inflation even though real estate has the best tax advantages over pretty much any other industry or business. Have a great day, and this is something you run into anywhere you go. Don't be turned away by this, just my thoughts. No targeting of the owners of Copper Lane, no negative feelings and intentions with anything said. Just to be clear. The government doing a study of the local economy, ends with the result that people are doing 'well enough' to up their rents. - Totally understand. Problems being, if my rent went up, yet my income did not change plus inflation, in a case like such, this would obviously not be a good thing. Peoples money is not going as far. It's definitely not in the benefit of those that control, to make life easier for every day people. - To add to this, by no means do I expect the owners or the government and their studies to care or take people into consideration. Absolutely understand that it's just business, and businesses have expenses and when things become more expensive for that business, the prices rise with the cost demands to continue making the business function."
"I wish I could give negative star reviews, but sadly that's not the case. I went to visit my friend here today. Parked at the entrance of the complex where the spots were not marked. They have some marked as visitors in the back (which I didn't notice on the way to my friends' apartment since it was closer to the entrance), they have some undercover spots, handicapped spots, and spots that said reserved on them. It turns out that these unmarked parking spots are actually not visitor spots, but are also reserved. I got towed before half the day was up. The fee for them towing and impounding my car (i was only out for about 7 hours), was a little over 400 dollars (got my car the same day, waiting overnight would have cost me another 50 dollars). If management actually cared, then they would look at all of the previous reviews and do something about it, rather than exploiting the people that live there who don't have the financial means to defend themselves legally (since this is low income housing). Essentially they extort not only the people that live there, but also the people that visit. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from here as possible. They are extortionists who will nickel and dime you ever chance they get. If they actually cared about the people and all of the feedback they've gotten from google reviews alone, then they would clearly mark their parking spots."
"BE WARNED DO NOT MOVE HERE....So let me first start off by saying that these apartments are beautiful inside and out, but looks can be deceiving. We moved in when they first opened and things were good, then the turn over of management began and things started to fall fast. Now I understand having rules and regulations but this place is a joke. They will tow your car if you back in to the space, there are no assigned parking for tenants so if you get home past 7 you have to park at the front of the property. You can forget about putting in a work order because they won't do anything about it for months. If you have an a/c in your window or on your porch in the 90* weather they threaten to evict you, but if you drive 40 mph through the parking lot nothing is done about it. If you are going to let your kids play at the park that is built for a 2 year old, you have to walk with them so they don't get hit. There are so many people moving out and braking leases because the manager is rude and rolls her eyes at you when you try to talk to her. She never has any actual answers and never really solves your problems or complaints. I hope they can get some one in the office with keeping. Our family can not wait until we can move out ."
