"Never again. Stayed here once before and even though they were supposed to be done with renovations, clearly they are not. Last time was a disgusting mess, so we got a “suite” this time, and it is even worse now than it was last year. Couch disgusting. Ottomans are disgusting. All the lampshades were crooked? No one can find the elevator because it is the size of a broom closet, and does not feel safe to ride in. We are supposed to get breakfast as gold members… even confirmed with Hilton Honors, but the hotel refused. People have been complaining for over two years but the hotel has not replaced the rundown furnishings. An obnoxiously bright alarm clock next to the bed… the had the WRONG time set… we had to just unplug it. I have stayed at $50 motels in the south and had better rooms. This is NO Double Tree… we will never stay here again."

"Never again. The furniture is horrible. The pool and hot tub out of service. Internet did not work. No one at front desk when we arrived. How in the world is this a Hilton? The beds were clean and that’s about it. I asked for a different room and was told ALL of the rooms are like this and that Hilton has a rule that if they replace one room of furniture they must replace all so they are “under renovation.” I saw no evidence of renovation anywhere. Worst experience ever!"

"The rooms are awful. The couches, chairs are old and badly torn. Stains everywhere. What I believe was the only elevator was not operating. I refused to stay there. The clerk provided a receipt showing there was no charge but I was charged for the night and they refused to remove it. Look at the other reviews not the pictures of what the hotel posted.i filed complaints with Hilton and have disputed the charge with Wells Fargo as I do have a copy of the credit."

"I stayed this past weekend. As expressed by everyone, the furniture in the room was awful, but the bed was comfortable and appeared to be clean. The floors, at a glance seemed clean, but then when you looked near the walls there was piled up dirt and dust along the walls and in the corners, not only in my room, but throughout the hallways. The elevator broke the second morning and was still not working when I checked out yesterday. I was on the third floor and although unhappy about climbing the stairs over and over, I was more upset that the family members I was coming to visit, were not able to come spend any time in the room (which was our plan in between some of the activities because the hotel was the most central area) because they could not climb those stairs due to ADA. I requested additional coffee pods in my room, but they were never received...and the breakfast, was fine. But pretty expensive considering all I had was a cup of coffee and some yogurt. And lastly....it felt like most of the staff were smokers, and they all took their smoke breaks under the covered area where you pull through to check in. I saw guests stepping around the corner, but the staff themselves, they smoked right by the front door at the bench. Website states "The pool and hot tub will be closed February 04, 2024 - March 06, 2024 for maintenance purposes. We apologize for the inconvenience." but the pool and hot tub are currently closed as well. Overall, not a great experience. Should have read these reviews before booking. Certainly wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Overpriced given the current condition of the hotel. OHHH...almost forgot...no cookie to be seen, smelled, offered or received."

"The staff were nice. The location was good. The pictures posted on the website are not accurate! The rooms were filthy! The fridge didn’t work and had mold in it! The coffee machine wasn’t working properly. The sink, ice bucket and sink tray were oily! The furniture is in horrible condition from wiping them down so much during Covid. The should get a couch cover. There literally was no upholstery left. The electrical outlets were hanging out of the wall. Not to mention stuff all other the walls!. BTW this was the second room after moving out of my initial room because it’s was twice as bad! I checked out the next morning. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone."
