"I had a great experience in a 1 bed, 1 bath apartment at The Avenues! Although the pictures weren't the best, I was pleasantly surprised with the space and amenities including in-unit W/D and a full size, open kitchen. I had a few maintenance requests during my stay, and every time Mike and Tanner were very responsive, helpful, and friendly - just be reasonable and respectful like you should to anyone. When I had issues both with a sink faucet link and showerhead, their first response isn't to pass it off or ignore me, but they actually installed new replacements! They also helped me move a large piece of furniture (unrelated to the maint. request). Designated parking space that's in a lot for residents only with one entrance blocked to further prevents unwanted traffic. Most visitor spaces are constantly taken by seemingly the same vehicles, however. My unit was on the second floor, but I do wonder if the headlights and noise of vehicles coming into the lot disrupts some people in certain units. I was very happy for the monthly price, and while the price did go up after a year, it wasn't by much ($15 overall for same lease length). I'd love to stay and would see myself here long-term, but must move for work much farther away."

"If you are planning to live here, make sure that you take pictures of everything before and after. I didn’t take any pictures afterwards because it looked fairly well, and close to how it was when I moved in. Anyways, they’re now charging me for a carpet replacement that I only had one bed in and the only thing I did was sleep in it. The crazy part is I complained multiple times that the carpet isn’t right and that it’s old and nothing ever happens. But as soon as I moved out they accused me of ruining it and charged me for it, and accuse me having pets which I did not have. It’s one thing if I ruined this place but the apartment itself is falling apart on its own and I made many complaints to have the maintenance guy come fix it but instead of fixing it, they waited till I moved out to charge me for it. I have emailed and called the management office several times to discuss this outrages bill. Every time I get someone on the phone, they’ll tell me that they’ll call me back or tell me to email corporate and I have, but I haven’t received a response yet. If you don’t want your car stolen or window smashed I don’t recommend living here and know that they will charge you for anything that they can. They even charged me for leaving spider webs in the apartment which is insane if you ask me and to be honest I think management here is pocketing the money for themselves."
