"My partner has lived here for about 2 years, and we moved into another unit together. We did a transfer, and some moments were a bit rocky. But Lupe is kind, provided great information, and took a lot of time with us to help with the transition. As in many reviews, the gates can often be broken, I blame this on people driving poorly and understand that it can be difficult to have equipment fixed immediately. I hope people can drive safer in the community and near gates, I believe this is a community effort, not just the responsibility of management. We find the apartments to be nice and comfortable, and we plan to stay a few more years. Thanks, Lupe, for all your help."
"Attention all potential renters...the landing in vancouver is not a great place to live! Management ( shannon and lupe are completely enept and dysfuntional)! They dont return calls, when you call, the receptionist puts you through a screening process to try to talk with management, as if they are royalty! The apartments themselves are cheaply made. You can hear your neighbors and the plumbing is horrible....toilets back up all the time, horrible odors come up through the shower drains and management ignores your complaints. The entrance and exits gates break allll the time, the hot tub is broken more than it works, drivers speed through the community...i was almost hit 4 times and managent doesnt care! Horrible place!!! I'm moving out!!!!"
"This place is awesome. Tha management is super great at helping you find what you need and pretty quick to respond. Lupe is the greatest, she went above and beyond to help my wife and I find our home. Stainless steel GE appliances, ice maker in the fridge/freezer, real wood plank flooring, quartz countertops in kitchen and both bathrooms, double vanity in master bathroom, central heat and air, a seasonal pool, year round hot tub, two gyms, a movie theater, a game room, a sturdy steel gate and fence, NO transient traffic, truly safe neighborhood with a diverse and friendly community, with a stellar maintenance group that will respond quickly to your requests and actually know what to do. Looking forward to seeing you as our new neighbor!"
"Living there was nice but it's been more than a month since I moved out and haven't received any communication from Shannon despite emailing the office. I will be reporting them to BBB and any other organizations that are relevant. Not even communicating about the security deposit is fraud."
"There are plenty of other properties in Vancouver. 1. Security is a serious issue. There are constant vehicle/garage break-ins; packages stolen. During our year here, our garage and car were broken into; the pool was defaced and the pool house set on fire by a vandal. 2. Something is constantly broken. The appliances are all pretty low-quality and are constantly broken. The maintenance staff repairs them and rarely replaces. 3. The pool is a nightmare. When it is open, for 3 months, its flooded with people that do not live there and impossible to enjoy. 4. The move out process is unclear. 5. They will overcharge and flat out lie. We were charged $900 to repaint an entire apartment over one scratch under the breakfast nook and a separate scratch on the baseboard. We were double charged for apartment cleaning to the tune of over $300. We were then charged for carpet shampooing, even tho the carpets were shampooed post move-out. 6. The management. HORRIBLE! Does not return phone calls or emails. Again. Look elsewhere."
