"My experience wasn't a good experience. Although the manager was expedient in concerns and maintenance repairs. The building was just too noisy and old. It was very hard to remain a tenant for 1 year. To begin with the parking in the rear of the building is horrible. I had 2 cars that would scrape under the bumper every time I would park. I really don't understand the purpose of the bumper. I was informed by management that it probably was put there to keep the water from building up from rain. I really appreciate Mr. Campos resolving my issue by allowing me to park in front of building. The next issue is after sleeping in my apartment the first night, I was awaken early in the morning by someone parking in the rear. My bed was right over the parking port in the back and every time someone would park and slam their doors or pull up with their radio on, I could hear them straight through my pillow and bed, not good at all for an entire year! Next issue, is the tenants upstairs above me. I met them and they both are nice people, although I called them idiots at first prior to meeting them. I did inform Mr. Campos that you can constantly hear the walking and creeping floors. His response was do you want me to say something to them. I finally met them and come to find out they were trying to not disturb me. I explained to them it is not their fault that the floor are old. My recommendation is that Mr. Campos put carpet on the floors. It may help a little but not that much since the building is so old and the floors are too. Next my neighbor next door. I had a neighbor who is an older man that would constantly bang and bump on the walls. I don't know if he had his chair or furniture on the wall. But almost every day he would bump on the walls and slam doors. He also would constantly leave his screen(storm) door wide open where I would need to walk around his door. And the walls were so thin you could hear his conversations, and I am sure he heard mines. I have a private mailbox and didn't receive mail at the apartment, but for some reason the mailman would fill your box up with sales papers and then throw the mail at the front of my door. My last issue is the garbage containers in the back. Need larger containers. Every morning people would sort through the containers looking for recycles and on the weekends the containers would be overfilled sometime from people moving in and out or just too much garbage from tenants and too small garbage cans. Also I really didn't appreciate Mr. Campos moving the garbage cans by my windows. I guess other tenants complained so he decided to move it near me. Not only was I paying probably the highest rent their for a balcony that I couldn't use because of the constant noise from garbage trucks, recycling searchers and lets not forget the business next door ordered large garbage containers along with Mr. Campos where I had to continue to keep my windows and doors closes. As stated before not a good experience living at Ocean Park Boulevard."
