"Meadowlark Apartments have been lucky to have Denisse as their manager for this location - and so are we as residents. In my experience, Denisse has always been very kind, helpful, and responsive, regardless if she is in the office or responding via call or email. Meadowlark has gone through a lot of change in terms of management since I've lived here (about 2 years), but each new manager was really kind and understanding. Denisse stands out because she is not only concerned for our needs, but also takes action appropriately and in a timely manner. The most important characteristic of her is that she actually listens to our requests. She tries her best to communicate with us and always follows up on us - a huge thank you to Denisse! Meadowlark has been a very pleasant experience because of her and our previous manager before the new management took over (Gee & Mike, who were both wonderful, but are now gone). Although the price is a bit high for the worth of apartment complex, I will be moving out soon and will miss the community here, for it always feels safe and very home-like."

"I am writing this review as I'll be moving out soon. I've lived here since July 2020 and this community has gone through lots of changes in terms of management. However, the property managers here have been wonderful and fantastic. I will speak a little about the current property manager, Denise. She's been working hard tending to all my needs as a tenant here in the community, answering my phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries. She's always been responsive and ensuring any issues be resolved as soon as possible. Denise has a bright personality and demonstrates capable qualities as a property manager. Don't be afraid to ask her questions if you decide to move here! The community itself feels safe as well and the neighbors are friendly!"

"Just moved In at the beginning of July and so far it’s good, just the rents a little high for the size. Would love to be able to decorate my patio with plants and holiday decorations as they are coming up. Other than that it’s a very quiet pleasant area and Mike handles the maintenance in a speedy fashion the areas are always clean and the pool is always clean. Another bonus is that there’s an app to sign in and pay rent put in maintenance request etc. Jacuzzi could always be warmer especially since it’s getting cooler outside! Gee is great as well she’s always updating and reminding us on things.. gee and mike are great, very friendly and welcoming all the time! when I come home from work I always see them and they’re very friendly always waving and always Saying hi."

"I Did Not Enjoy A 40% Increase In Rent... ... But I Wouldn't Live Anywhere Else In San Marcos. I had been living at the property for four years when the former manager had to move on. A new team, Gee and Mike, came in and began making changes. Many of us did not like those changes. The biggest and most shocking change was rent going from $1,000 to $1,400 per month. That was shocking. But, within a few months, the value began to emerge. Gee and Mike's professionality, accessibility, level of service, and neighborly manner has made it worth it. The apartments went from being loud, ghetto, and shabby to being quiet, peaceful, and remarkably clean and pleasant to come home to. I feel grateful to be a resident here. I know people paying less in the area and can tell you that they always complain about some aspect of their apartment lives. I don't."

"Michael and Gee have been the fairest and most straightforward people I’ve had as property managers. Every maintenance request I’ve placed was answered within a day or two. I had concerns about our neighborhood safety and they were already handling the situation proactively. They maintain this community with pride and uphold rules in order to keep our apartment complex safe."
