Maintenance crew is top notch making customer satisfaction is guaranteed. My 5th year of living on this property full time since my retirement, without a single regret. Our decision to move to San Marcos and Whispering Oaks Apartments continues to be in our best interest. Given the challenges of San Diego County housing shortages rising rents has been a challenge to all that enjoy the incredible weather and activities that are all within a short distance. The location is superior even if you ride public transportation, or drive your our vehicle, every requirement is a short distance. Pricing is fair based on comparisons of amenities and square footage. The garage space is the hidden bonus on this property."

"This is an amazing complex and compared to others in San Marcos, you really do get a good deal considering the price. Here are some highlights: 1. Management: Anna is just phenomenal, she really cares about the tenants and goes out of her way to help in any way she can. She is one of the best apartment managers I have encountered. KUDOS to her 2. Maintenance: Great! Never had issues, they answer promptly even on weekends if there happens to be an emergency. 3. Amenities: There is a pool/jacuzzi and some outdoor areas where one can walk or just relax. There is also a gym, I never went to so I can't give too many details. 4. PARKING: This was my favorite because at other complexes you only get one parking space which is horrible because who owns just one car? This complex realizes that families have more than one car and accommodate for that. If you have guests, the parking is more limited, but there are nearby street parking that can be accessed for them. You also can park in your garage too! The garage is a plus because it's a good size and can store many items. 5. Units: The units are well maintained in my opinion, rooms are good size and kitchens have reliable upgraded appliances. 6. AC/Heating: There is a heater in bedrooms and living room, the AC is just in the living room so I do suggest getting fans or portable AC for the rooms if you are someone who doesn't like the heat in the summers. 7. Pests: There was an ant issue during the summer but a couple of ant pesticide took care of that. Besides that no pests encountered! 8. Security: There is a security company that can be called, the complex itself is very safe, never have had issues with anyone. 9. Location: Easily located next to 78 FWY which is great if you need to get to work or any place. Nearby markets around the corner and close to bigger stores off San Marcos Blvd."

"Loved working with the leasing Manager, Anna Ocampo. The maintenance was always willing to help and Anna was always available to answer any questions when needed! I lived here for a year and our family was grateful that they were willing to work with us in moving in. We appreciated all her help and her patience! "Very nice community and great management. Lived there for 5 years, enjoyed our time living there. It just gets too hot in the summer although they have beautiful gardening not enough trees for shade, windows need to be replace, I think they were working on that- mine were too old and thin, so my apt. was super hot in the summer and very cold in the winter; double windows would change that. Very close to the freeway it's a plus. :)"

"Anna was a great manager, who was very understanding and accommodating. She listens to all your concerns and helps you out to the best of her abilities. She was extremely helpful with the transition between my old housemate and my new housemate. Other times she was nice to remind us to pay our rent and utilities on time in order to avoid the late fee. She is genuine and super cool. Maintenance guys are the best, especially Jose! He was always quick to get the repairs done and was very flexible with his schedule when I randomly ran into him by the garages. They were always friendly and timely when a work order was placed. The apartment gave a welcoming, warm, home-feel. The space/layout was the perfect size for 2 people. The kitchen counters and cabinets and floor were newly implemented when we moved in. They were able to give us a parking space for the amount of rooms you’re renting, whether it be a single (one bath), double (two baths), or triple room (two baths) apartment. One garage space and one designated parking space outside but still close to the apartment."
