"The Orchard Apts is a housing program ran by Santa Ana Housing and Mercy House designed to house the Chronicly Homeless. You must go through Santa Ana Housing to get placed at The Orchard. It is not a regular apartment complex. No walk in renters. There are a few one bedrooms but the majority are studios."

"I used to live here 4 years ago with my mother. It used to be a guest inn motel, but sadly the owner sold it to the housing authority. We lived here for 8 years, never had any problems. Once the housing authority took over, they started to renovate the complex. They told us that if we wanted to stay, we had to apply to the housing authority program. We paid $800 bucks a month, which was not bad for a studio room. So we decided to move out. Now it's full of shaddy people, and the housing authority runs it. Doesn't seem like the place to live now!!!"

"Not as bad as you think. Do they need the landscaping taken care of better?... Yes. Do they possibly need a simple security guard to patrol for emergencies?... Yes. Is it a simpleton place to lay your head w/ a gate, a relatively quiet atmosphere, front door's with dead-bolt locks and a very low monthly rent payment. All-in-all not that bad, really."

"This place used to be a motel called "Guest Inn". The motel has been completely torn down and now the city or county has constructed a low income apartment complex. It's now called "The Orchard". This is all i know so far as I've only been a guest on occasion. This is "NOT" a place to bring children for any reason whatsoever."
