"I’ve been living at this complex for years. Overall I’ve been satisfied with my home. There have been ups and downs. Currently we’re in the ups. And that’s mostly due to one senior technician. Pedro has become the heart and soul of The Jefferson. He literally shines from the inside out because he’s exactly where he wants to be. Probably because he truly knows what he’s doing and likes helping people. Pedro is able to assess the situation and make the most competent decision for both the resident and the complex. I have had many technicians before his employ who patched something or did a quick fix only for the issue to get worse and have to call them again. In fact, after the change in technicians Pedro couldn’t believe something the previous tech did and actually took a photo while laughing in disbelief. I always thought it’s more expensive to pay someone for labor 2 times than to just pay a teensy bit more the first time to fully fix the issue. Thank heavens for Pedro. Second reason for the ups, which is a lot more obvious and I hope not getting all the credit - they are making a LOT of updates on the amenities, overall cosmetic appearance and vibe which were much needed. They’re doing a fantastic job. But I want to stress that the saying is true for people and businesses. You can be beautiful on the outside and ugly on the inside. Pedro helps make this place beautiful on the inside."
"Since I've moved in to the Jefferson in January, I've had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional service from Pedro in the maintenance department, and I couldn't be more impressed. Not only was he incredibly thorough in addressing the issues I had with my apartment, but he also displayed a remarkable level of urgency, efficiency, helpfulness that exceeded my expectations. From the moment I reported the maintenance issues, he wasted no time in assessing the situation and promptly addressing them. What truly stood out to me was his thorough approach to resolving the problems. He didn't just provide quick fixes; he took the time to thoroughly examine the root cause of each issue and implemented solutions that were both effective and long-lasting. His attention to detail and dedication to getting the job done right the first time were greatly appreciated. He also patiently answered all of my questions (even if I hadn't submitted a specific request ), provided valuable advice, and went above and beyond to ensure that I was completely satisfied with the results. Pedro is great and overall the Jefferson is definitely listening to feedback and investing in the property!"
"We seriously considered moving there and we really liked the vacant apartment, BUT after reading all the bad reviews we asked some residents in the building and literally EVERYONE told me not to move bc of the fire alarm issue. I heard that the leasing office is in a lawsuit with all the dog owners as the fire alarm goes off every other day in the middle of the night and it will take up to 40 min to shut off. Obviously super traumatizing for dogs as well as kids. and this has been going on for over 1 year. too bad as I liked the apartment. wish the owners of the building would switch their management company as they are clearly not able to fix the issue"
"Best place I’ve lived in LA, very attentive management when needed, 24/7 gym, pool and spa and a gated community, i work nights so when I walk my dog after work I feel safe! Everyone I’ve encountered is friendly and we have vending machines and a work space if you work from home. Everything is new and updated. Feels like home :)"
"Pretty miserable place to live. To be fair, the apartments are relatively spacious and rents are somewhat more reasonable than other buildings in the area. That is where the pros end.The management company is extremely unhelpful and closes out maintenances tickets without explanation or review. They just don't want to deal with it. The hallways are cleaned once a month if we are lucky. To "address" the dog poop issue they proceeded to remove trash cans from around the property. Make that make sense. I also had them enter my unit without notice. To name a few of my recent experiences...there have been plenty more. The fire alarm going off at 1am randomly now and then is the cherry on top and the fact that nothing is ever done to address the issue at the source is just baffling to me."
