"This is the third time we stay at this fine establishment. The staffs are always helpful and attentive. With their Destination Passport package that includes free Academy Museum tickets, free drinks, food and beverages credits plus free on-site activities, you'll have plenty of things to do. And the location is close to water and majority of LA attractions. However the building, rooms, room decors and included amenities are trailing some other hotels. The hotel is still nice but it's no longer worth the rate they are asking for."

"Second time at Marina del Rey (January 2024) We recently stayed at The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Ray for the second time - first visit was about 2 years ago. The location of the property for someone looking to visit L.A. without being > is fantastic - you are a quick car ride/Uber to many things around, but can relax at the same time in a resort-feel hotel setting. The property is well maintained and the rooms are well appointed; not the most modern of properties but well kept/clean. The team is very friendly and made the stay enjoyable, as well as the wonderful team who works at the Cast & Plow restaurant - you must have one meal there at least. Can't wait to come back soon"

"Ritz at Marina Del Rey sits in such a nice location. It overlooks the harbor on one side and it's also very close to LAX, making it convenient for a quick (or long ) visit The lobby has a beautiful lounge area with fireplaces and seating. I enjoyed having an appetizer and later dessert at the lobby bar/restaurant I rented a bike on site and the valet was very helpful, allowing me to choose between a street bike, ebike or a beach cruiser. There is a walking path located on the marina side of the hotel and on the freeway/street side if you prefer to walk to restaurants, stores etc. Although the room decor was not very trendy or modern, it had a nice classic vibe with a "marina" twist. I would definitely stay here again."

"Beautiful location, 20 minutes walk to Venice Beach. Classic experience of the Ritz Carlton with a discounted feel. Many reviewers are disappointed with their stay here. Please keep in mind this is discounted property which reflects in the service provided. Thai one a good example you get what you pay for. With that in mind the property is just fine. You don’t pay $1500 a night here but can stay for $400-$500. So realistic expectations and common sense should be the rule of thumb."
