In addition to the great location and beautiful apartments is the fantastic customer service we have had with Keith as our service maintenance manager. Keith goes out of his way every day to make sure that we have everything resolved that we might need. He’s become our friend and a highly respected colleague."

"So much I love about living at the Breakwater Apartments. The low density, living beside the water, the sunsets, the residents, the bike path, the Equity Staff! A huge shout out to Maintenance Staff/Keith and Gardening Staff for their great work, professionalism and kindness. It’s a beautiful complex and I’m happy to call this place home. Normally, service requests are handled promptly and professionally. BUT, the ELEVATOR in my building, 13902 Fiji Way, IS REGULARLY OUT OF SERVICE. This time, it’s been out for SEVEN DAYS which is a hardship for older residents and all residents who have to carry groceries, deliveries and luggage up and down the stairs. My hope is that EQUITY APARTMENTS, the owner, will get to the bottom of this particular elevators issue. It needs a permanent fix or to be replaced."

The location at the opening of the marina into the ocean cannot be beat. Since day one, we have had a phenomenal experience with Rachel and Jenn. "I have been living at Breakwater for about 10 months now and I have never experienced a staff and a community that is as stellar and phenomenal as it is here. Even though it was my first time leasing, Crystal did wonders during my hectic move in curating my many deliveries even before moving in and taking large strides to help me through the move in process. Even when I had small concerns about anything in the unit, she was always available to help. It goes without saying that the community and property are gorgeous and it is serenity nestled within the hustle and bustle of LA, which is very rare. "I’ve lived at 3 equity properties and this by far is my favorite. The location is perfect. You’re close to everything yet tucked away in your own little paradise. It’s very quiet and the neighbors are kind and friendly. Jose, the community manager made my move in process super easy and welcoming. He continues to care about the residents after move in whereas other people I’ve dealt with in the past wash their hands of you. Jose truly runs this property with class and compassion. Any issues or concerns are handled with urgency. The units themselves are larger than most apartments in the area with stainless steel kitchens, really beautiful finishes that look super high quality. Some even have marina views which is the ultimate experience. I recommend Breakwater if you want to love where you live."
