Marina 41 Apartments

"Don’t rent here. Been living here for 2 years and it’s been a nightmare. The hot water has gone out without warning at least once every single month for the past year. This week, we’ve had either no hot water or no running water at all for most of the last 4 days. They know their plumbing/pipes are bad, yet have point-blank told us multiple times that they have no plans to make long-term fixes. The elevators are constantly down & are rarely ADA compliant. Someone put up this sign in the elevators yesterday (see pic), and it about sums things up. Recently, they’ve been threatening to take away our smart-hub access on our phones if we don’t adhere to a new parking system (they already have our parking information, and parking is covered in our lease… so this is shady grounds at best) The only redeeming things about this place are: Julia in the front office is fantastic, the on-site maintenance team is good for small fixes, and the beach is nice. But trust me, the beach isn’t worth it."

"Location and maintenance staff are great. Everything else is surprisingly bad. I have lived here for about three years and have been pretty patient working through the numerous issues, but if you’re considering moving here - just don’t. Hot water is out regularly. Sometimes you’ll go a full day without even running water, which is always a nice surprise! There have been two separate shootings in the past month with no communication from management. Some mornings, you’ll wake up with a full SWAT team out front - another fun surprise! Coupled with break-ins reported weekly, it’s just not worth the $4k+ per month. Management is more focused on sending threatening emails about parking permits (?) than on actually fixing any of the ridiculous issues about this place. Edit: forgot about the elevators! Rarely are two working at the same time, so try not to live on a high floor! Other than that, though, yeah the location is pretty great. Two stars."

"Marina 41 has been amazing! From the beginning when I met Julia W. to tour apartments through my time living there so far, everyone has been wonderful to work with, very helpful and hands on. Julia is incredible! I toured several apartments on my first visit and she listened to all of my pros and cons for each. She kept in touch with me and contacted me when there was a unit coming available that she thought would check all my boxes and she nailed it! I have been super happy living at Marina 41. Julia and the team have been so friendly, maintenance requests are addressed in VERY timely manner and communication throughout the building is so thorough. Highly recommend and ask for Julia!!"

"We moved into our great new apartment in Marina 41 in Marina del Rey. Besides the great location, gorgeous views and spacious living space, Ashley the leasing office manager and Julia leasing associate have been exceptional. They have gone out of their way to make sure we have any issues resolved as quickly as possible. We love ❤️ living here. Ocean and marina views. Can’t beat that!!"
