"I am a current tenant at the Mirabelle and wanted to take time out to commend the property manager Dawn Hickmon. She is always very professional and handling any issues I bring to her attention in a timely manner. I have lived at the Mirabelle property for over 2 yrs now and recently had an issue with some water intrusion in my unit. After I submitted a maintenance request, I emailed Dawn regarding the problem- just to ensure my request would get addressed in a timely manner, and sure enough it did! Dawn made sure my issue was solved right away! I really do appreciate how attentive she is when it comes to solving resident issues."

"We just moved in to this apartment in September 2023. Since we moved in so many things were broken. We have to replace dryer, furnace, closet, light and even elevator wasn’t working. Past 3 weeks they removed air conditioner from our apartment( I can’t get out for 4 hours) and put smelly silicone around closet and enter the door. My kid has allergy for smell of silicone packet and also it’s so cold in our apartment. Besides that bilding doesn’t have individual lockers for packages and they put all packages for all apartments together. Also without keys, you can’t use elevator and it’s no guest parking."

"Mirabella is in a beautiful area near shopping, beaches, and restaurants. I love how zen it is here. Shukura who works on the customer relations team is wonderful. She really works with you to make sure your needs are met. If I ever have a problem she has it immediately resolved. I plan on living here long term."

"We lived in a single-room unit for ~6 years. The location is extremely convenient, and its placement behind taller apartments made it a more private & quiet location. Dawn was wonderful and always did her best to help us whenever we reached out. The Maintenance team (first led by James, then by Salvador) is consistently wonderful and professional, and has helped us through a number of unit problems/emergencies. We moved away due to financial and personal reasons, but would love to rent again if we ever move back to the same location. Unfortunately, I can't rate 5/5 because the lack of an on-site office really made it hard to communicate efficiently, and the complex has a Big problem with package theft that Essex never resolved. Even a secondhand used book I purchased for work was stolen. I lost items I can live without, but I worry about residents who have things such as important medicine, hypodermics, etc. stolen from them- you never know what someone needs to survive, and Essex/Mirabella really needs to take that into consideration when it comes to the safety of the package room. (It was also unfortunate that rent skyrocketed so much since we first moved in, but I know the community managers can't do anything about that.)"

"Found this place online after needing a quick place to move from New York. It’s been a life changing move and after 3 years we are moving away with the purchase of a new home. Nice staff and attentive maintenance. Beautiful pool area, nice neighbors, and perfect LA location. Highly recommended!"
