"Way too much crime and shootings for an apartment complex that puts people on probation for reporting crime! Jaycee, the ASSISTANT office manager is usually barking at you if you have a question or concern, and does ALL the work of the REAL office manager, and has NO CLUE as to what is going on in the community. They BOTH need to be replaced. This community could be better, but not with their leadership."

"If you need a place to live this is a good place. The kids play outside and the neighbors are nice."

"What started off as a pleasant rental experience and great family starter home turned quickly into a nightmare. Very poor management. Termination based on false allegations. While in the process of selling a mini fridge and deep freezer kcdc came and removed it from our back porch that has been there for two years prior without complaint . Notices were often removed by neighborhood children. Didn't receive my utility allotment except a few times. Property wasn't maintained well. Lawn service would mow over my garden and run over trash and destroy plants. Trash and cigarette butts constantly would be thrown throughout my front yard. Little to no installation in walls , so very little privacy. Two shootings (one that went through the upstairs window directly into my room) . Faulty fire alarms ... The Attic was never finished to prevent birds from making nest above our unit. Worst of all received several notices for rental termination/ loss of assistance notifying me on a 0 income my rent would go back up to fair market rate and some stating court dates to attend and then receiving one that would say to disregard the previous letters & come to the office to sign a renewal ? Even Some notices saying to evacuate the premises in 30 days. Some saying we were being evicted due to automobiles (in wich I didn't possess even ONE at the time lol),&( violation by letting non tenant vacate premise or reside there for more than the 14 nights. Which wasn't true. I had notified the person that he could no longer come over due to the offices concern and that they could proceed with him however they saw fit due to KPD advising of legal trouble if i let him return. I tried to vouch for him being only a helping hand when I had known him. Helping countless neighbors, taking trash , helping elders and keeping an eye out for thief's . He even had been helping me with paperwork and legalities due to my mental disability. He resided with his grandmother at another unit across the street though. What infuriates me however is that while out of town visiting a sick relative my unit was completely emptied , removing all of my things before date I was notified a week before CHRISTMAS ! All of my documents my two children's clothes beds family pictures family heirlooms food dishes notarized papers . However my mother's ashes were kept safe in the office (thanking God every day) . Irreplaceable momentos and keep sakes. Upon visiting the office on my return I was notified my stuff should still be in storage until that Wednesday. I immediately went to the storage and had felt so blessed that some of our things remained. To be continued on 4"

"They could do better with this neighborhood, the apartments need to be fixed better the parking is a mess, trash every where, letting trash be burned out side. I could go on and on about these. The flooring could be better wood flooring or vinyl that concert is rough."
