"I’ve had the opportunity of staying at Aloft twice in past couple of months, each just one night unfortunately. This is one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Ashley at the front desk is always polite and helpful. I met Penny, housekeeping executive and my, does she deserve praise. My room was outstanding, spotless and the decor is amazing. The lobby was clean and around the building looked so good. Will definitely stay here again and hopefully will be more than a night at a time. Wonderful and relaxing. Thank you guys for a great experience."

"This hotel is literally 50 yards from a major interstate at the junction with a 4 lane major road and an on-ramp (take a careful look at the map). Because of the surrounding interstate, major road, and ramp nearly all sides of the hotel are exposed to noise from traffic (long haul trucks, trucks with illegal exhausts accelerating on the ramp, etc). The windows in the rooms are single pane and thin considering the fact that the hotel is literally on an interstate, which means that rooms go from noisy to extremely noisy. Further, the room windows do not have thick curtains, rather paper thin roll-down blinds. Go figure. Further, my room had a heat/cool wall unit (rather than centralized heating and cooling), the fan of which was very noisy. The welcome note in the hotel had earplugs next to it, which should tell you all that there is to know. The hotel is nice and clean and the rooms modern and functional (no ironing board -- business travelers be advised). While the staff was kind (and fully aware of the noise problem -- one mentioned that "corporate" knows about the problem and won't upgrade the windows), this hotel was a terrible choice I immediately regretted."

"Ashley at the front desk was super pleasant my entire three night business stay. Rooms here are always clean, and I feel the value here for your money is top notch. Also, the location in West Knoxville is prime for business travelers who don't want the hassle of a stay in downtown, yet want diversity of food options, which there are plenty here. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews, each and every time I stay here feels like an extension of home to me."

"I’ll start with the staff. They were lovely and very helpful. I have zero complaints there. The noise in the rooms was a thing. The lack of wall covering to dampen noise, the road noise, and the waist management trucks at 4:30am sound like they are in the room. I appreciated the ear plugs but it’s disappointing that one would even need them. The fact that this is a pretty modern hotel with modern amenities, I was surprised to find coin operated laundry machines. Was difficult getting cash, making change, and the lack of available laundry detergent to purchase was cumbersome at a minimum. $10 breakfast sandwiches are a bit proud too. And, despite waiting for breakfast service for 3-4 minutes we opted for other options."

"Service was below average. I stayed 3 nights and they never cleaned the room. A bit hard to get to off the highway. It was kind of far from everywhere I went in Knoxville. On the good side it’s clean overall. Just an average hotel overall. Felt safe. Also, there’s a free pool table in the lobby so that’s a plus. Front desk employees were courteous."
