"I did NOT expect perfection. No latch on the door Toilet not working, tub/shower filthy and even small spot of blood on the tub. The worker said it was paint, but dried paint would not have been removed with just an alcohol wipe. Shower not working and when it did cold water, sink leaking and hole in the door where the knob should have been. They're in the middle of renovations as per the employee and they did move us to a different room when the toilet stopped working in our first room. The rooms do have microwaves and refrigerators, which were not clean Again, I did not expect perfection, lesson learned. I know we get what we pay for......."
"*ROACHES* We will always be a customer to Econo Lodge due to a very pleasant experience during my sons medical troubles. With that being said, this was absolutely the worst hotel experience me and my fiancé have ever dealt with. The only credible reason to stay is it’s an easy access to the interstate. I understand it is on the cheaper side of hotel/motels but that’s no excuse to not have basic cleaning or working A/C units. We booked a king sized bed, when we came to check in it was a two double bed room. We were fine with that , once we got to the room one light worked beside the bathroom light. The A/C was broken, at that point we asked for another room but the other room available didn’t have one at all. The bathroom was dirty, the bathtub had hair and dirt in it we had to clean it ourselves. The beds were dirty, covered in hair and crumbs and the pillows were clearly used and wrinkled. I feel as if it’s a basic accommodation to have CLEAN sheets and bathroom. The worst of it all we killed two cockroaches while we were there. There were no other hotel choices at that point so we had to stay. If you have to stay for a night of sleep, I guess it could do. But if you plan for multiple nights just don’t go there."
"This hotel is disgusting. I killed a roach last night. Mold on multiple areas in bathroom and room itself. Burn on sheets, floor wash disgusting, fridge was dirty, microwave had no turning plate, towels were horrible, they were stained and had hair on them. Beds are made of metal. Never ever again."
"I checked in at 3am and left at 11am. The sheets had some small holes but were soft and clean. The room didn’t smell great when I checked in but was better when I turned on the air conditioner. The upper lock on the door was broken so I pushed the two chairs in front of the door. For the price, and the reason I was there, it was perfect. I wouldn’t choose to stay here for an extended period but it was exactly what I needed at the time."
