"I've had a very good experience living at Goldelm at Metropolitan. The apartments are located in a good area of Knoxville, and the price is reasonable for this location. The inside of the apartments are clean and modern, and I haven't had any major maintenance concerns. The staff are all very friendly and communicative, which is a huge plus. Overall, great experience so far!"

"I originally left a 5 star review because they occasionally do a raffle where if you leave a positive review you may be eligible for $100 off your rent. For what it's worth I personally have not heard of anyone winning one of these raffles. Don't listen to the positive reviews. Listen to the fact that everyone seems to have an issue with them charging people who move out for trunked up charges. If you're moving to the area and desperate for housing this place should be your plan "C." The longer the management stays management the more they'll run this place into the ground."

"My overall experience has been great. My apartment is cozy & comfortable, and the staff is very responsive to maintenance needs, which have been few. There have been some noise issues between other tenants, but it appears the office staff was aware & dealt with complaints. I am in a great location to begin my stay in Knoxville."

"Getting my apartment was easy even with a few setbacks. The first unit I was supposed to move into was found to be infested during maintenance's cleaning in prep for my move in. My leasing agent got ahold of me to let me know about it and gave me the option to move into another unit. This other unit was 100 sqFt larger and was a bit more expensive. They gave me a small discount on the unit because of the inconvenience which was nice. During my move in though It didn't look like my unit was cleaned very well. Still lots of dust everywhere cobwebs on the ceiling and the shower is a little outdated in terms of hardware (my friend lived in the community as a child over 13 years ago and it was the same setup ). The counter tops are all nice granite slabs, and the appliances are stainless steel. The dish washer is out dated and the unit did not come with a washer and dryer. Small issue but for how much rent is I would have really liked them included. The amenities are all nice and well maintained. Overall I had a pretty good experience moving in, just the few gripes I had with the unit's prep and price."

"I wouldn't recommend this place solely because of the management. They don't give you your refundable deposit back and put unnecessary charges on your account. I have found one person at the front desk to be extremely rude and insensitive when it comes to hearing me. They made a false claim about the carpet change, and when I went to their office, they did not want to listen to me. They told me that their Manager would reach out to me if I sent an email to them, but I did not receive any response. They did not provide their Manager's phone number; instead, they gave an email, and they are unresponsive. Very unprofessional and rude, it's the most unprofessional and rude experience I have ever encountered while living in apartments! They ate my $600! Very disappointed"
