Cambridge at Hickory Hollow Apartments

"I know a couple of family a friends in this neighborhood, and I am extremely concerned for their safety, also the safety of the community. For this to be a gated community the police presence is sickening. There is always police issues. The entrance gate is broken every other week, so this wouldn’t classify as a gated community Drug addicts, car wrecks in the apartment, shootings, high volume car break-ins, the list goes on. To charge a person a parking fee and 1800$ in rent a month just for them not to sleep peacefully worrying if there car is ok at night is not ok, and is extremely unacceptable. Only for you to go to the office and they tell you they are not liable and can’t help you in any way is sad. Something has to change. If there is any other apartment to go to for this price run to it fast. This is an extreme waist of money."

"I’ve lived here since April 2023 and I am quite pleased with my apartment. There are a few things that could’ve been a bit more polished upon move in, but nothing non livable. I’m a lil upset still because I think my apartment should’ve come with the backsplash and wooden blinds as well because aside of the breakfast bar that’s what attracted me. The maintenance crew are very polite and respond in a timely manner, and the management team are always understanding and accommodating to my requests/issues. Overall I’m enjoying my stay, some of my neighbors could be a bit more mature and safe but I can only pray about that. Thank you Cambridge for your hospitality."

"Be careful. I’ve lived here once before and I had a more enjoyable experience the first time here. I moved back here in July 2023, since then I’ve had to deal with bugs in my fridge (that no one seems to know what they are, not even the pest control vendor- I’ve been told that they would do something about it and haven’t), I had a neighbor move in recently and every time she leaves the house, her dog howls until she returns (no exaggeration needed)- I’ve notified the office and they act like it’s nothing they can do even though our lease states that pets will have to be removed for noise complaints, there are gnats (LIKE BAD) in the apartment during the summer (but that was an issue my first time here as well). The laundry facility isn’t worth it, you have to find the right washer to avoid having to ring your clothes out by hand. One of their vendors came speeding through the complex and ran over my dog, (true enough he was off the leash) but the vendor didn’t care enough to stop after he ran over my dog and when I confronted the vendor- he just laughed! I notified the office (as it seems that they will hire anyone) and I was simply told to file a police report. I’m paying more for my one bedroom now than I did for my two bedroom that I moved out of just last year. The prices are really getting out of hand. The office is sometimes hard to get ahold of. The utility charges are outrageous- my utilities for the complex cost the same if not more than my electric bill. I get charged $24 for valet trash and they don’t even pick up every night that they are supposed to. I get charged an additional $11 or so for trash again and I don’t even know what that charge is for. Just be careful."

"I had the incredible opportunity to call "The Cambridge at Hickory Hollow" my home for five wonderful years, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I stepped into the apartment complex to the day I reluctantly handed back the keys, it truly felt like a home away from home. The apartment itself was a heaven of comfort and style. The layout was well-thought-out, providing ample space for both relaxation and entertainment. Natural light flooded the rooms, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the day. The modern appliances and well-maintained fixtures made everyday life a breeze, and the attention to detail in the design truly showcased the dedication of the management team. Abby is the super cool Manager who is an asset to the property. Portia, Jessica & Hannah are great additions in the management team who show great respect and value to the residents. Speaking of the management, I can't commend them enough. From day one, their professionalism and friendliness stood out. Any concerns or maintenance requests were promptly addressed by Shemal, Moe, Scott and Robert, showing a genuine commitment to resident satisfaction. The sense of community they fostered through regular events and a willingness to listen made me feel like more than just a tenant – I felt like a valued member of the "The Cambridge at Hickory Hollow" family. Location-wise, this apartment truly hit the jackpot. Situated in a vibrant and convenient neighborhood, I had easy access to a plethora of dining, shopping, and recreational options. The proximity to public transportation and major highways was a huge plus, making my daily commute and weekend outings a breeze. And then there were the amenities. The fitness center helped me stay active and healthy, the beautifully landscaped gardens provided a tranquil escape. It's these small touches that elevated my experience from great to exceptional. But beyond the physical aspects, what truly made this apartment special were the memories I created within its walls. From hosting memorable gatherings to enjoying quiet moments on the patio, each memory is etched in my heart. I'll forever cherish the time I spent at "The Cambridge at Hickory Hollow", and I'm grateful for the role it played in making my life so fulfilling over the past five years. In conclusion, if you're seeking an apartment that seamlessly blends comfort, style, and a sense of community, look no further than "The Cambridge at Hickory Hollow". "I have lived at Cambridge for around 7 months and have enjoyed my experience so far. The best part about this complex is the staff running the show. Abbey is hands down the best property manager I have ever encountered. She is quick to resolve issues and does so with a kind and positive attitude. Hannah at the front desk greets you with a warm smile and is ready to help in any way possible. She is a leasing expert! I am always sure to pop into Portia's office for a quick chat and she never ceases to make me laugh. I had the pleasure of working with Jessica the other day and she is amazing! All in all, this is a great place to live and I commend the staff for their professionalism and expertise."
