"Lived here for 8 months. The owner is a good person, very nice to deal with, offers favorable leasing terms for tenants. Also, great location, right next to VUMC, easy to visit hospital and downtown (and also great for students). However, here are a few not so good things about the complex. Buildings are old, so expect to fix this and that every now and then. Two "on-call" maintenance guys are not the best handy persons in Nashville, they will do the bare minimum and blame the rest to the old building. The HVAC is bad, just bad. Expect to pay high electricity bills just because of these old machines. Most of them are replaced with window AC units, which is also not energy efficient by design. Add failing/no insulation of doors and windows to that in the winter. Buildings do not have washer-dryer hookups. The in-house laundry facility is also bad (and dirty). 50% of the machines do not work 90% of the time. Other than that, great apartment complex."
