"Unfortunately, I am unable to write a good review for Golden Eagle. We had a brand new ac/heating unit put in our home last summer with Golden . unit and work cost nearly $15,000 when all was said and done. Needless to say, that was a lot of money for us, but we took out a line of credit to purchase the unit. Immediately upon installation, the unit did not work as promised. We were unable to cool our 2-story house comfortably . Now a winter storm is coming and our heater is not working. We are going on a year now from installation, and we have had to call for a repair over 8 times! We've had to take off work to be home during their window of repair services. This company and their product just keeps costing us money and time. Now, more inclement weather is headed to Austin, and we could possibly be without heat. I just warn any working class family that is looking to make a major purchase for their home. DO NOT USE this company. You do not always get what you pay for."
"Jay from Gold Eagle was terrific! I explained to him the issues I've been having with getting a clear and honest answer as to what our homes issue is from other companies. He presented solutions to remedy potential mold I hadn't yet heard of. He was on time (early actually!) and Stephanie at the office was so helpful in scheduling someone to come out next day! Very professional, look forward to getting a clear answer once our lab results come in. Thanks so much!"
"I wanted to leave a little time between the service and this review incase issues arose. It's been 2-weeks now and the full HVAC replacement Gold Eagle did is working without issue. I was particularly impressed at how professional they were. They didn't try to sell me anything during the purchase process, they even supported my choice in manufacturer. Then they arrived on time and worked all day non-stop to get the install finished. They even learned at 4pm (on Friday afternoon) the circuit board needed replacing so drove another one out to my house (Lakeway) on Friday evening to get the unit working as it was going to 100F over the weekend. The guys sat around for 90mins waiting for the new board to arrive but refused to leave with the job unfinished. Happy to recommend and glad I found this company."
