"Carlos is an exceptionally skilled and gifted trouble shooter and technician. Let's just start with ... he answered the phone! No one answers the phone anymore. Second he diagnosed my machine from a quick video I sent on our phone call. Third, he was willing to repair immediately when he was closing in 45 min and I was 20 min away! Fourth, even though the repair went a bit deeper than he originally surmised once he opened it, he quickly repaired it, quite efficiently I might add, and DID NOT charge me more than he quoted. Lastly, he took the time to educate me on the machine and programmed it for me so that I could care for it properly in the future. I just can't say enough about the service I received. You will not want to go anywhere else! I don't care where you are located in Austin, it's worth the drive!"

"if there were more stars to give, i would! i am a DIYer and was about to repair my 10 year old espresso machine myself - which hadn't been serviced before. i caught myself going down a very expansive rabbit hole; and i was in a time crunch with work. i decided to seek 3rd party repair service, and couldn't have been more pleased. there are plenty of options for service in the Ausitn area, and i fee like i lucked out with Carlos, the 'Ausitn Coffee Technician'. he tore my unit apart entirely and sent detailed photos of what was going on inside (see photos attached to this review) before providing a quote (which matched his initial guesstimate). once approved, he serviced all components to restore to factory standards. he also took extra care in cleaning and polishing the entire unit inside and out - which looked like new when he arrived to drop it off. the extra stars would have been for Carlos going above and beyond: - pick up and drop off service included (big up for busy folks)! - no upsell, and only recommended what was needed - just practical - upon drop-off, he gave tips and a demo on how to get a better extraction from the unit, as well as basic maintenance and upkeep tips as a tinkerer and DIYer, i was initially reluctant to hiring someone - and i'm happy to report that Carlos proved me dead-wrong :)"
