"I was a groomsman for my brothers wedding and had rented a suit from here. Costed about $300 & accidentally lost the jacket. They charged me $300 to replace it. Even though I had paid for a loss and damage fee of like $50. They are money hungry and will charge for just about anything. I can't believe they charge that much for a jacket! Just ridiculous. The young African American lady was very helpful and so kind. The old woman was so rude and had an attitude when the young lady was already helping me out. And to think I was going to come here for a suit for my wedding this year. What a joke! Save your money and don't come here."
"Really enjoyed shopping at Jos. A banks in the past. This last visit was disappointing service. We were asked if we needed assistance and said yes but got very little attention or direction. We left feeling like we were treated dismissively."
"When shopping around for wedding rentals for groomsmen, this is about as cheap as it gets. Bottom of the barrel pricing means bottom of the barrel service. When the bride and groom of our wedding party clearly communicated an appointment date and time, the staff disregarded them and made them feel like an inconvenience when they showed up to arrange their rental and get 3 other people sized right then and there. The experience was terrible, they were disrespected, and unfortunately they still went with Jos A Bank. My own experience was that of complete disregard when i clearly communicated scheduling conflicts due to work when picking up my suit rental for a remote wedding. Long story short another groomsman had to pick it up and the suit was ill-fitting. Mean people, terrible service, mediocre pricing. Take your business elsewhere."
"Came here to get fitted for a groomsmen suit. I worked with Wayne Todda, who was excellent. Patient, answered all my questions, took the time to explain my options to me and gave me great recommendations. Prices were also reasonable. I'd definitely come back for future formal wear needs."
"I love Jos A. Bank's clothes which makes this especially annoying, but the service at this particular store is very poor. I have been here a few times in the past, so I don't know if they hired all new staff or what, but my experience with the three different employees was generally bad. I recommend going to a different one or ordering online instead of going here. The first I asked if there were any more sport shirts in the store than what I saw in a particular section; he briefly glanced around and responded arrogantly "right here is everything YOU would be interested in". He then walked away; I was taken aback by it. I brushed it off and continued to shop. My experience with the second salesman was unpleasant in a way that is difficult to explain shortly over text. Finally, I went over to the dressing room with 4 sport shirts to try on. The salesman there spoke to me like a child "Why don't we start with one of these? I'll place the others to the side". It seems he was implying that the fit of a single shirt would have determined if I was buying all of them. There were two different fits (traditional and Tailored) I was trying, and I wanted to see how the styles looked on me with what I was wearing. I had intentionally worn similar pants to what I wear to work to see what they look like. I purchased my shirts and left. I will now drive to a further location instead of going to the location closest to me. I am annoyed enough that I may even return the shirts and go elsewhere. I haven't decided yet."
