"Don’t do it they tell you one thing and do another. They don’t fix nothing it takes weeks for them come. But they so quick to add extra fee to your rent and raise the rent. The pools are alway under maintenance or dirty. There parking lot has numerous pot holes like you on the highway. You do better going buy a house then renting from them the price is too high and they don’t do anything but collect money for low quality living"

"Hello Adara communities, The reason behind why I am not extending our lease is that for a 6 month stay we had numerous issues. The following issues are: 1. Floors were being polished/waxed last minute when we were told that the unit was ready to move in. The maid was still cleaning up the apartment when I was told that it was time to move in. I had furniture men waiting outside and had no choice but to let them place a sofa on a polished floor that was not dry yet. 2. Roaches all over the kitchen 3. Ants crawling through carpeting- even found a spider once. 4. The boiler leaked! The laundry unit fell through from the unit above us!! Good thing no one was home at that time. This could have injured or killed one of us standing there! 5. The water constantly leaked in our toilets increasing our water bill even if we were not there. 6. Heaters kept going on and off. I arrived at the apartment in January after winter break and was left freezing in my unit for 4 hours until maintenance arrived. 7. Air conditioning did not have the capacity to reach the entirety of unit 9. HOT WATER in the winter season! I could not shower for 3 days in January. The maintenance guy came and stated that he fixed the problem but after 3 minutes of hot water, the cold water instantly came back. The hot water did not return until I called maintenance again. He "fixed" it. I turned on the water again and when the tub was only 1/4 full and I felt COLD Water. I called maintenance again and the same thing happened, the hot water could not hold out for long. Hence, winter months were a joke. Do y'all not want to pay enough for heating- was this issue a money move? You can not afford for all of your tenants to get hot water everyday so distribute heating like we're in a third world country. I was only there for a weekend. 8. The gym is dusty and rusty with broken equipment that never gets replaced. 9. The second pool near our building was never open. 10. I had left my apartment key at home. The "replacement" key did not even open our door because your team never updated the key before we moved in. Good riddance! It's a good thing my family's home is 15 minutes away or my only option would have been to call a locksmith. APPARENTLY I had to find my own locksmith and not even get a recommendation from your community team. 11. There is mold under the kitchen sink 12. The ceiling was leaking in the secondary bedroom on our fourth day here. We sent in a work order but maintenance never came. If your answer to us for all of this is "why did you not just place a work order for this or that"- There are so many work orders that we could put in! There was a problem everyday- so when are we actually living!? My sister and I are college students. When are we actually focusing on our studies and not just sending work orders? Before your residents move in, I'll need your team to do a thorough inspection because it seems like the maid was the only person who came in and did a little sweep before the last residents were just there. My sister and I had to keep living with our parents- the place was unlivable! We only lived in unit 1103 for either a weekend, a week, or not at all during these 6 months. You could check the cameras because we rarely lived here. There was a work order and problem every day! If one work order got resolved another arose. Now that I'm writing and remembering all of this, I am so angry I could spit. Overall, the downfall of this community (3.5 reviews on Google) has been the reluctance to pay for more maintenance, appropriate heating, updating seriously old amenities, and certain staff members just not putting any effort into these units- like why are the keys not updated? Why are the units not inspected for mold before residents move in? You may ask why I am bringing all of this up at the end of our lease. This is because we had an appropriate living besides this apartment. I finally have time to evaluate everything now. I could not imagine the poor souls who signed their lease and have nowhere else to go."
