"I came to tour the community and the team was very friendly. The amenities were nice, especially the space where I can walk my dog & the two pools were gorgeous especially the rooftop one. I am definitely considering this place when I move in the future."

"Mice infestation, Car theft, Dangerous broken entrance gate. RECENT REVIEWS ARE FAKE especially the most recent ones that were specifically left to combat this review that they knew was on the way as I made them aware. Management will not be honest with you about this building. In my opinion, things have gotten really bad since the new management came. They shut down Memorial Drive (the street to enter the apartment) once a week to host a marathon, amongst many other streets that you would have to use to leave the area. My apartment came without fire alarms. Gates have been dysfunctional for weeks to the point of danger and damaged my car. Trying to cheap out on an apartment like this will cost you in other ways. Just take your money elsewhere. The pool is usually green. The water turns cold after being in the shower for 4 minutes. I thought living by the Bayou was a good idea but birds are extremely loud and wake me up every single morning around 6am. Sleeping in isn’t a thing over here. The lights delay to turn on. The new management is rude and disingenuous. As a rebuttal to my complaints the manager Makayla actually encouraged me to leave a review. After Makayla tried to blame the broken gate on previous management i told her I never had this issue with previous management she said “well I’m sorry you never had this issue with previous management” why would you be apologizing for me not having an issue with previous management? Disingenuous & a lack of care. I’ll be leaving as soon as the lease is up as quick as possible."

"Things have been different ever since Makayla, Samantha and Bryan have taken over. The communication, professionalism and cleanliness around the property and inside the property has been way better. The building needs A LOT of work but the staff has ensured us great things are to come and I can’t wait to see the changes."

"I enjoy living here for a while now! Very beautiful place to live, with nice apartments, friendly staff, and great amenities. However, amentities are often broken/closed. For example, the pool area with the hot tubs and grills have currently been closed for more than 1 month, with no opening date in sight. The elevators are also down too often. Then, during my last rent renewal they wanted to increase my rent with 14%, eventually brought it down to 9%. I think these rent increases are too high and make current residents feel under valued and uncertain of a long term stay."

"I am very pleased so far with Bayou on the Bend apartments. The location is great, I am 5 minutes from work and 5 minutes from great night life. The residents are friendly, and there is plenty of space for my dogs to enjoy life outside (Hard to find in alot of apartments around the area). After reading some conflicting reviews online, I was a little nervous signing my lease. The views and decor of the apartment complex are wonderful, but with it being an older building that was flooded during Harvey I was worried about maintenance etc. However, I am really blown away by it so far. The staff is extremely friendly, (probably one of the nicer leasing staffs I have dealt with in 15+ years of apartment rentals) and the maintenance team are rockstars. I had an issue with my AC and they came out within 5 minutes to resolve it. With that being said, that was the first time maintenance had to come into my apartment in 6 months, which is a good sign to me. As I mentioned earlier, its a very dog-friendly property which is very important to me. The only issue I have is that, because my apartment faces Memorial, the volume of traffic on my patio is a bit extreme at times. With that being said, I would highly recommend this apartment complex based on my experience so far."
