"Lived here for a year, never felt safe, there were break-ins constantly, someone was even killed whilst I lived here, there were bugs everywhere, I couldn’t count them all. My water came out brown, the shower head exploded, fridge door wouldn’t stay shut, never was able to use my dishwasher, never even saw the gym, don’t think it exists to be honest, the pool was full of green water and not swimmable for the majority of time I was here. To top it off, the customer service was soo bad even when ownership changed 3 times. They never sent maintenance when I asked. And to rub salt in the wound, they’re ignoring me and refusing to give my security deposit back. Avoid at all costs."
"The absolute worst of management I’ve ever had to deal with. Been a resident for nearly 3 years and living conditions were unsatisfactory. The resident who lived below my unit was a drug addict/hoarder who made the roach infestation in my building a nightmare. Their unit (591 i believe) had been vacant for 6 months and into the hottest of the summer left in utter filth. Management had done nothing to exterminate the roach infestation that spread into our building or cleaned the unit. I spent nearly $100 a month trying to exterminate the pest myself and keep my unit clean. The exterminator literally sprayed Ortho that you can get at the store; nothing special. During the summer I went 3 weeks without A/C and the roach issue became worse. Another issue, is management. I recently lost my unit and mailbox keys. I’ve made countless maintenance work orders and tried to get ahold of the office to have them replaced. It’s been 4 days now since I’ve been in my apartment. The office has not contacted me since I’ve made a request. I’ve tried to physically go into the office to make a complaint and it’s closed; no matter what time of day it is. These people are real slum lords and do not care about your living standards. Providence at Memorial now has an automated system whenever you call. You will not be able to get ahold of someone in the office. This is ridiculous and am considering breaking my lease. I understand rent may be cheap considering you’re close to city proximity but, I’d look elsewhere."
"Only hires people related to the supervisor yadira, but its the same supervisor that wont let me off my lease for black mold?!?!? Lost electricity for days!!!!!! I bet their family had a great Thanksgiving...instead of hiring your family and making sure your family has money for the holidays how about actually helping your residents you are sent to supervise? How about crediting those who lost light..oops sorry no she's worried about her husband and son having a job."
"I love the staff at Providence! They speak Spanish and English, which is nice. The apartment came with stainless steel appliances and granite counters. They are clearly working hard to improve the property. Their fountain looks amazing!"
"I have lived here for 1.5 years now. Soon to be 2 and we’ve had a hole with BLACK MOLD on the bathroom roof, a bathtub in need of resurfacing, a bad touch and flea situation and to top it off neither the gym nor the pools have been open for over a year. How can you expect to pay full price for a place like this that lacks amenities and is riddle with dangerous pot holes and the gate is broken into almost every week and cameras are not online! So we set up our own neighborhood watch for this place! City law states in article c CH 92 that the at most wait time for adequate repair liability is 1 WEEK or reduced rent will need to be applied or withheld."
