"I've been a resident at Avenue Grove for over 3 years. Unfortunately, like other reviewers have mentioned here, I've observed a significant decline in the building's quality, amenities, and overall upkeep. The presence of pee stains on the carpet in the hallways is concerning; and the gym's state with broken equipment, despite promises of replacement, has been disappointing. Additionally, the fire alarms go off frequently, especially in the middle of the night. This has been a persistent issue. The alarms will go off throughout the building for over an hour. They are extremely loud, very disruptive, and decline the overall living experience at Avenue Grove significantly."

"Though I’ve moved in recently, my move in process has been wonderful. I have nothing but good things to say! I love my apartment and the environment. It is very family friendly, quiet, and inviting. The staff has been so friendly as well as a great help. Especially Daniel, who has made moving a breeze. He has answered all my questions in a timely manner as well as provided wonderful advice about the community."

"The alarm went off AGAIN tonight, incredibly loud and disorienting. You could see the panic on everyone's faces as we all hurried out with our pets and babies, trying to avoid going deaf. I’ve been living here for a while now, and I'm really concerned about how much the quality of life has dropped recently. One perplexing aspect is the persistent odor of weed and cigarettes within the supposedly smoke-free building. Additionally, the hallways and elevators remain consistently unclean, with occurrences of dog pee in the common areas. The demeanor of the cleaning lady is consistently unpleasant, as she seems disinterested and behaves rudely. Furthermore, the once well-maintained pool and gym facilities have regrettably descended into a state of neglect, with noticeable levels of uncleanliness.Given that we pay an amenity fee, it's only reasonable to anticipate a pristine pool, especially when dealing with the hot summer days in Houston. Compounding these issues, both parking gates have remained inoperative for months, and the sporadic absence of security personnel during the night raises concerns about the safety of our environment. These concerns collectively underscore the urgent need for comprehensive resolutions to reinstate the elevated standards of living that we rightly expect in our community."
