"Office people are nice, Araceli is the nicest and most understanding. Maintenance sucks, they don't fix anything. Nice and quiet place, parking kind of sucks for the outer buildings but it's ok near buildings 14 & 17. Ants are the biggest problem, they aren't the worst but they are definitely annoying. Got new neighbors downstairs and started seeing a few roaches at least 6 a week for the past 3 weeks. Definitely the best complex in this area if you're looking for a 1 bedroom. Just make sure you bomb the apartment for pests before moving stuff in because ants will intrude. Honestly just buy some raid for your lease term and you'll enjoy your stay here."
"Every year and a half there’s a new management team and they are always worst than the previous team. The roof leaks, the windows leak, the air conditioning unit was broken in the highway temps of summer. The maintenance crew lost the key to the apartment twice and make excuses for not fixing anything. Now the new management team has advised that the tenants have to get their own electric service provider and it will no longer be added to the rent. The issue with that is they turned off the electricity without giving the tenants the chance to find an electric provider. There are a lot of their apartments in Houston to rent from. Go there, not here."
"I live in these apartments. I wouldn’t advise anyone to move here. We have roaches although we pay for pest control. The pest are not being controlled. The new management team is highly unprofessional and deceptive. We were previously receiving electricity through the apartments and they had us and others shut off from their account without warning, leaving us in the dark and cold. The area is violent. The gates are inoperable and inconvenient. The pools stay closed due to uncleanliness. Don’t move here. They have fees they charge you for that you will know nothing about. You will feel scammed."
"The administrative staff at Vanderbilt has improved vastly. I had previously inquired about one bedrooms in the past and ultimately decided on a different option (I didn't even get a call back after looking at available units). Recently I chose to come in and take another look. I had the pleasure of working with Terra and Araceli and they both made my rental process quick and easy. Terra has even gone out of her way to secure packages that arrive when I’m not home. I was skeptical about renting here at first; however, dedicated customer service, competitive prices, and close proximity to my job and major highways made it a good decision; not to mention free snacks and coffee at the office :) Keep it up!"
