"I lived in these apartments for over two years and just recently moved out. Management team, great. Maintenance team, great. However, some staff members at the front office are extremely rude. I’ve tried twice now to reach out for questions regarding their mailing system and also the refund of my deposit. Both times I’ve had to encounter a very uncomfortable and unprofessional customer service experience. I would recommend speaking with the property manager to receive any type of professionalism, knowledge about the complex, and basic respect."

"Grimy, money-hungry liars. Upon our initial tour, my girlfriend and I told the leasing agent Daniela that we weren’t 100% sure of our move-in date. Daniella informed us that they hold units for 2 weeks which would allow us some wiggle room. We applied for an apartment available May 18th and the online application portal allowed us to select our move-in date up until June 1st (exactly 2 weeks later). We selected the June 1st move-in date. A few days after completing our application, the office called us to inform us we either had to move in on May 18th, pay a higher rent to move in June 1st, or cancel our application. When I asked what happened to the 2-week hold we were told about, they completely lied and said “we meant the units are available 2 weeks after the last tenant moves out” and “the website glitches sometimes, we’re working on it.” They completely went back on their word of holding a unit for 2 weeks because, “It is a high-demand floor plan and there are people who are willing to move in before you. We can’t miss out on $600.” ($600 being the prorated rent amount for the 2 weeks they would hold the unit) We decided to cancel our application because this gross display of slimy management is not something we want to give money to. They offered to refund our application fees (because they know they’re wrong). They didn’t keep their word and forced us to look elsewhere for housing after feeling relieved about finding a place to live. It’s not all about money, it’s about home security. And since I know they’re gonna read this: y'all should be so ashamed of yourself. Take some communication and management courses, seriously."

"It was a few weeks ago that more than 15 cars were broken into, and their windows were smashed (see pictures). The management did not even bother with sending an email to warn the residents. All they did was responding to other tenets' reviews here and talking about their non-existing patrols and their imaginary security measures. Last night, thieves stole tires from residents' cars (see pictures). Just think about it! Thieves can drive in, steal tires from cars, load them up, and drive out of the complex completely unbothered! We have put up with the insane roach infestation, the stinky brown hot water, water outages, and many other maintenance issues. But theft is one too much! To management: Please don't bother discussing your non-existing security measures in response to my review. Do better! Install cameras! Control the entrances (it's wide open all the time), and hire an actual security person!"

"I toured 5401 Chimney Rock with Daniela as my leasing agent, Daniela hands down made the whole experience 10 times better with how friendly, communicative and knowledgeable she was. Even though I decided not to rent from this complex due to unrelated circumstances, the apartment was very nice and was priced at a great value. I loved the area and the community complex was also very well kept. Definitely consider this apartment complex and ask for Daniela if you do a tour!"

"I really like this Apartment called 5401 Chimney Rock!!!! I have been living here now for about 7 months. I really like that they have 24 hour security guards who faithfully ensure that the residents' safety is their number one priority. The office supervisor Annabelle has been extremely nice and professional with me during my stay here. The office personnel which includes Brittany, Jenifer, Joanna, Daniella and Nate are always very helpful and nice and professional and they go above and beyond the call of duty to help me whenever I go into the office for assistance. The maintenance team is also professional and thorough when fixing things in my apartment. I highly recommend anyone to move here to 5401 Chimney Rock Apartments. The community is very welcoming and comfortable! This apartment has 4 very nice and sparkling pools. I really enjoy how they buy breakfast for the residents and I really enjoyed the fall festival in the month of October! Move here to 5401 Chimney Rock and u won't regret it. U will love it here!!!"
