"Late response to emails & thieves here. My package has gotten stolen two times in one week & the office says there’s nothing they can do about it when there’s two cameras in the mailroom. This could have been avoided when I asked for a locker last week & I was never sent the email / was never responded too. I was told it’s my fault I didn’t sign up for a locker when I first moved in. My package was stolen in the matter of 2 hours of it being delivered. I will not be living here ever again. Office people act like they don’t know anything the only helpful one is the property manager otherwise you get ignored or you’ll get absolutely 0 help. This apartment sucks so bad today they had the water off for 9 hours & they have no answer when it will be back on can’t wait till my lease is up so I can move far away from here"

"I have moved in late in 2023 and so far I hate to complain, but it has been absolutely terrible. The halls are always dirty, the elevator is always filthy, there is increased noise, loud music, loud yelling, horseplay at late night hours, the front of the apartment complex at night is always filled with parked cars that do not live here, yet are free to have their cars parked here and often times are just loitering. The trash shutes are always full and the trash is overflowed with a horrible odor that makes the entire floor very unpleasant. Often times this goes on for days at a time. I have seen the worst of all these instances occur after the leasing office has left for the day. But, also during office hours. The smell of marijuana here is also very concerning. It consistently smells of marijuana. The smell is so strong that you can even tell which unit it is coming from. I call and complain via email to the leasing office quite often, but the leasing office does not do a single thing about the situation. Recently, a few of my neighbors here at Vargos and I have gotten together to see what we can do legally, with the assistance of the American Nonsmokers' Rights Foundation as well as writing to our community leaders, because it really has gotten quite overwhelming. We are very much underwhelmed by the focus of care and acknowledgement provided by Vargos on the lake given that these apartments are supposed to be non-smoking. Though the complaints seem to be met with understanding, pleasantries and empathy by the Vargos staff, right after you are responded to, you will be forgotten and ignored thereafter. I read the reviews left on here and you can always expect a response from the leasing office, just never any action to follow. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone who is seeking the comforts of home, unfortunately. I am truly, truly, truly, uncomfortable living here and I feel lied to. Let these experiences and lack of service serve as a fair warning to anyone seeking to live here."

"I don’t even know where to begin, what made me finally write a review was when I got my own BRAND NEW car towed from my own reserved parking spot that I pay monthly for and the leasing office wouldn’t reimburse me due to it being a “valid” tow when I was never called to confirm the tow. The hallways are barely cleaned, most of the gym equipment has been broken since I moved in 2 years ago, the gym water filter hasn’t been changed in months, rent increases every year with little to no changes and the paint used in the apartment peels to slightest scratch. Ever since we got the new management things have gone down we used to have 24/7 maintenance, hotels for family members/visitors to stay in the apartment complex, and quick replies when something went on now that’s gone. Other than that the apartment complex are honestly pretty calm and love the lake view."

"The leasing office does not reply or take care of things in a timely manner. I ALWAYS have to follow up several times. For as much as we pay here, the customer service should be better."

"This property has gone downhill for the past few years. I truly regret moving here because management staff is very hostile and disrespectful. I tried explaining to the assistant manager how there is MOLD on my AC unit and no one has came to fix it. While explaining to her the situation she kept saying I was speaking over here when all I tried to do was explain to her how I made work orders and the maintenance workers didn’t do anything about it. The elevators are always broken and dirty of pet feces and urine. There’s always weed smell in the hallways and all they do is send out email with “warnings” I added pictures of one the AC vents so you guys can judge for yourself"
