"So much to unpack here but I’ll try to keep it brief. You need to know before renting these apartments that, Tammy Dennis is horrible. She’s a very rude person, inconsiderate, a liar, and just not property manager material. This apartment complex switches property managers like underwear so it’s always unorganized and none of them never know anything or are always too busy to come to the phone for issues but if you go in the office it’s empty and they’re usually doing absolutely nothing. The air conditioning is a huge problem during the hotter months. The windows are large, walls are also thin. When it’s hot outside, it is hot as hell inside. My AC legit went out the same day I paid $1400. Thermostat read 88 degrees. Walked in the office and complained. Was told someone would be over to fix it nothing happened. Called the next day to follow up and I was told I have to put in a work order online. Long story short over 3 days of suffering and paying for a hotel before i got relief. Was offered zero reimbursement. Why? Because they can barely keep a full maintenance staff. So it’s usually that same one maintenance man having to fix everybody’s ACs and there’s not enough window units to accommodate the amount of people facing air issues. Plumbing was also a problem. Water got shut off a lot over there for a million different reasons. Also they allow maintenance to enter your apt without your consent or notifying you. When I started working in Louisiana I’d barely be home and there was always a letter from maintenance on the inside of my apartment on the door or on the kitchen counter. Very unsafe and completely illegal to do that. My biggest issue here is I spoke with Tammy about a very serious issue and my ability to pay my rent on the designated days because I was extremely sick. Received a call from Tammy about rent and explained that Inhad been in the hospital she says “Well you should’ve called from the hospital.” That was very unprofessional and hurtful. I let her know I was in the psychiatric ward and we literally weren’t allowed to have phones. She’s an extremely cold person. We had a talk over the phone. She said that I could move without having to pay anything as long as I moved before the following month. I made sure to clarify what she meant. She reiterated i wouldn’t have to pay the rent or worry about a broken lease or a broken lease payment if i just turned the keys in and they’d just keep the deposit. I trusted her and got burned because recently we get a call from collections saying they sent a final payment that we owed rent. So now I have this going on my credit report. They never not once reached out to notify me of a balance left over, not a text, letter, email nothing. They sent it straight to collections because they KNEW this was wrong. But now I know documentation beats conversation. ALWAYS email their portal and hold all other conversations through email so they can’t lie. Also get everything in writing because people pretend well. Documentation beats conversation. I hope that neighborhood petitions to have those apartments condemned. It’s rather ghetto for that area anyhow."
"Taylor was such a pleasure to tour with! She was very knowledgeable about the area and is so sweet and helpful. She answered all my questions and was just so sweet. The whole office staff was very welcoming. Highly recommend them! Beautiful community as well!"
"I’ve lived at this property for many years and have enjoyed my stay here. Sadly the last couple of year things have been going down hill. There a many of us that don’t have washer/dryer in our apartments and the laundry mats are in horrible condition. They have several laundry mats around the complex but usually they are broken or dirty. Many of us have express our concerns and we keep hearing that corporate doesn’t want to do anything about it. The latest issue with the machines is that the laundry card machine to load our cards has been broken for 3 weeks. They keep saying they are waiting on the company to fix it. Meanwhile, what are we supposed to do to wash clothes? No one gives us an alternative option. The location is great but starting to wonder if I need to move."
"I have recently moved here and I have been having a wonderful time. The management is nice and they take care to make sure that the apartment complex remains clean. The pools are clean. Although, I do wish the gyms were a little better and the equipment was a little newer, but I guess it's fine since it's free. Generally the gates work and the security is okay. The rent is reasonable and mostly the people who live here are family folks, so there's not too much noise and there's a lot of people here who have dogs since there's a park nearby which is an added bonus. There's plenty of parking and there's a good number of cupboard spots and I do like that I don't have to pay for a covered parking spot since it's first come first park basis. I do hate the washer and dryer. Laundry rooms. Sensor machines are always broken and I've had quite a few quotes torn because of them. Having a good electricity rate is an added bonus. I believe the current rate is $0.08 per kilowatt hour. We do get charged about $100 on top of rent for internet TV. Overall, it's an old compartment complex, but I do like living here since it's so quiet. Although I wish they would have better laundry options. They have recently been doing food trucks which is a nice addition. Also, I haven't had too many pest problems which was nice."
"My wife has lived here for 3 years and I have lived here for 2. We have really enjoyed our time here. It's very quiet. Tucked into a very pleasant neighborhood. All of our fellow tenants were neighborly and friendly. Maintenance crew were very kind and quick to fix any issues that came up. Management team has been very kind and helpful as well. The rent has been very reasonable for the quality of life we have had here."
