"I’ve been in my lease a year now. Apartment complex is nice and so is my apartment. However, there are a couple of things that really make my skin boil. I’m a trainer and some times I would love to be able to use the amenities that played a big part in me choosing to lease here. The GYM. It’s inconvenient for me to not be able to get a quick workout in at the thing I was sold on as a part of the lease when I have a full day. 3 out of the 4 Treadmills don’t work, the barbel equipment is dangerous to use bc it is not oiled properly and the bar is very bent. The other equipment is about the same. In other news personal to my apartment, Maintenance comes in right away for the most part but leave with the same issues they came in for. Its frustrating. Office people are very pleasant though. They seem to always be active and attentive when I go in or call. Thanks."
"I dont do reviews much but this one deserves it. IRENE the manager was outstanding. Her professionalism and her attitude made us feel right at home. She gave us this feeling of security and peace so im sure all the tenants are in good hands. She even did a follow up call which showed her genuine interest in us. The property is clean and the units are spacious and comfortable. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you Irene for your guidance and support. Keep up the good work."
"Just moved in and I am in LOVE with my new apt!! The area is very convenient and for the price it can't be beat!! Plus the staff was so friendly helpful it made the entire process very pleasant and stress-free! The manager Irene always makes an effort to come out and greet you and make sure all your needs have been met. Highly recommend Gramercy Park!"
"DO NOT MOVE TO THESE RACIST non-management, adding unexpected fees, and non working amenities apartments. Brace yourself because this review will be extensive and in depth from start to finish of EVERYTHING that is wrong with this property! First off when I moved into the unit I didn’t receive my mail box keys until 3 months later and had to go to the leasing office to use their key each day to check the mail and the access key to get in and out of gates, the gym, pool, building, and office room. The access key I was provided NEVER worked for access to anything and I never received a new one. I was told that the gym was 24 hours access but the gym was closed majority of the duration of my lease as well as the pool being closed all year long! The gates are constantly broken and gate codes never worked even with the access key. None of the amenities that they charge you for you can’t even use like I mentioned the pool, office/computer room (printer and computer never worked), gym, and access to the mailroom. They charge unhidden fees without your knowledge and charge an automatic alarm fee of $18 for an alarm that doesn’t work and only you are able to hear inside the unit. Next, I had AT&T for internet, my bill was $10 a month until they basically scammed us all into getting fiber. They told me my internet would only go up to $30 and it started being $100 a month! They force you only to get AT&T and don’t allow other internet providers. The parking is ridiculous, the parking spaces are limited, narrow, and they have closed up some parking spaces when there are barely any to began with. It was always a hassle coming home to find parking and usually had to park on the street for a far commute to my unit. Packages were constantly being stolen from neighbors apartment doors because it is not secure, the leasing office does not accept packages and or have a secured area for packages to be delivered. Management and staff do not answer the phone what so ever or they will just hang up in your face, management is HORRIBLE! There have been 3 property managers during the duration of my lease and they were all racist, I can’t make this up. I had a lock box on my door for a spare key and also decorated outside my door but was told to remove both immediately because they think it’s AIRBNB and that I would be charged fees if I didn’t remove them, mind you I’ve walked around the complex to see other units with the same key locks on those doors and decorations as well. How can I make my place a home if I can’t decorate or have security. My unit was ant infested and roach infested with no resolve, big roaches from outside would always find their way into unit and the leasing office didn’t care! My tub was peeling, LITERALLY peeling so I couldn’t even take a bath if I wanted to and had to buy a bath mat to take showers. The water was constantly being turned off for long periods of times and or days a couple days a week throughout each month. The water is dirty and never clean and my toilet was rusted with rings around it due to the dirty water even with a new toilet. My tub started leaking from the ceiling causing my water bill to be higher than usual and they couldn’t fix it. My A/C went out during the hot summer in Houston and I was out of A/C for 3 weeks because they said it was backed up with work orders so I was forced to sit in the heat and wait for maintenance which sucked as well. These apartments are GHETTO and don’t rely on any of your problems being resolved but instead take it to corporate. There have been more evictions then I’ve ever seen and tenants leaving due to all of the issues these apartments have and let’s not forget the car break ins! It’s not secure even with the gates because the gates are always broken so anybody can get access to whatever they like. Let’s not forget the towing, they have a tow service that is 24/8 and your car or visitors cars will be towed if not registered every single day. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY, PEACE, AND SANITY AND MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE WORTH IT!"
"I have been a tenant since 2019 and I have watched things go from Excellent to bad, I say this because maintenance used to be better. Now you put in a request they only do the ones they feel like and ignore the rest. Apartment office staffs do not care about tenants (they give, “don’t bother us, just go with the flow attitude”). They send emails to act like they care but it’s all fake. Almost every other week they come up with a news or rule that most times do not favor tenants. For anyone considering moving in, You need to know WATER GETS SHUT OFF A LOT ( there’s always one plumbing issue) NO ACCESS TO RESTROOM AT THE GYM, NO SECURITY AT NIGHT. Things should get better not worst."
