"I’m a new resident and so far I’ve had a great experience with the staff at this apartment complex. Lydell was friendly, helpful and made the move in process smooth. His willingness to assist me made my move so much easier. I will update this response as my experience continues."
"If I could help save any one from wasting their hard earned money in these apts please be advised these are the worst apts to move to management is rude and senseless and doesn’t know how to talk to the residents they are very unprofessional. Trash is always spilling over into the roadways. The apts are infested with roaches and rats and management doesn’t have a maintenance team to do anything about it."
"Current and possible new residents please read carefully this review! We lived in the Matthew Ridge complex for several years but it has gone downfall so much this past year. It has became a section 8 housing and the living conditions here are TERRIBLE. You have to file maintenance problems via a portal but it can take weeks or months for your issue to get fixed. Theft here is extremely common and this apartment CURRENTLY has employed JERMAINE BROWN who came into our apartment this month while we were in the process of moving and stole a child’s nurf gun, Apple Watch, Nintendo, and went through our remaining items. Including broke our alarm system. We know it was him because he so smartly left his maintenance bag in our apartment and the note (pictures are attached). We called to complain and the assistant manager said he would call corporate to handle the situation. Sadly, calling corporate in this complex means NOTHING will get fixed. If you are thinking of living here or currently live here please consider moving elsewhere the office receptionist always answers with a snobby attitude even when you’re polite answering questions, the neighbors are disgusting and leave garbage EVERYWHERE. Theft here is out of control from people who WORK here like Jermaine and outsiders who come in and out of the apartment complex. The office will not care if your items are stolen or hear your complaints. Please look elsewhere to live do not waste your time looking to be a resident at Matthew Ridge."
"I could hear the property's manager neck roll through the phone. This woman was rude personified. I was simply calling in to ask about any available units because when I had walked in earlier this week the property was behind and then looked online and saw they had units available. I told the property"manager" I received hcvp and what started off as a friendly inquiry quickly turned into a discriminate, volatile, and hostile rejection. Despite the terrible reviews I read on this place I was still willing to give them a try but don't let your hard earned tax dollars go to support this tax credit property that thinks it's a downtown high rise."
"Ive never left a review before but today I’m so disappointed because I received a letter via email saying that they had approved my application and to choose apartment number and a week later they called me saying I wasn’t approved. Keep in mind that to apply here you have to pay the deposit with the application fee and obviously if they don’t approve you they won’t care and just not give you the money back. My advice is to verify you make at least $4,000 for a 2 bedroom and $3,000 for a 1 bedroom. And to make sure they have apartments available because every time I would call they say they still not ready."
