"Well I was impressed with the hotel. It was in a well lit area, was in a good location, and had onsite security. The place looked nice on the outside and didn't look sleezy or sketchy.There were lots of restaurants and fast food joints in the area, some within walking distances .The rooms were very clean and smelled fresh. The room was a modern contemporary style. The king size bed was massive and the pillows were comfortable to sleep on. The bed was made up in a crisp, military style (for those who served in the armed forces, you know what i'm talking about.). There is a huge 50-55 inch TV mounted on the wall, right in front of the bed that has ONLY basic cable. And the hotel rates were affordable and competitive. My date was impressed with the hotel. However, one complaint I have about the room was that it was very dark. Even when I turned on every light in the room, including the bathroom light, it was still dark and dreary and not enough to brighten up the room. The ambience of the room was stark, cold, and dreary. At times, the darkness of the room felt very overpowering. The lighting was a very stark white spectrum. My other complaint was the customer service. When I entered the hotel to check in and get a room, the Asian desk lady alternated between talking to me about what room I wanted for the night and holding a personal conversation in her native Asian language on her personal cellphone. This went on throughout the check-in process. It was very irritating, unprofessional, and rude. I hope that the Four Points Sheraton will train it's employees and desk people on basic customer service, professionalism, and etiquette. But overall, I was satisfied with my experience and will be staying at the Four Points in the future."
"Booked through a third party, but there was a requirement for incidentals deposit . I have no problem with putting a card on file for incidentals . I do have a problem if your card reader is not fully functional or outdated ! These Hotel businesses that are billion dollar conglomerates need to be more considerate of the safety and financial security of it's patrons ! I am really at a loss, when all that is being implemented for one's financial security, is not being adhered to by these corporations for their patrons, it is a travesty ! All the Hotel brands and their other properties they've purchased need to update all the card readers and make sure they are fully functional......#FourPointsSheratonHouston"
"Non existent customer deliver by front desk agents, room smelled like mildew and had major pest control issues in the bathroom. Uncomfortable beds, room necessities didn’t work and the couch was visibly dirty. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Close it tbh."
"The absolute worst hotel I’ve ever experienced. I would NEVER consider this hotel again, EVER. Upon check in, the room smelled like mildew and had live roaches in the bathroom. I immediately refused the room and checked out. (Literally two minutes later from check in). The young lady at the front desk, Dajah was supposed to credit my card and did not. I called for a week and still no credit, just unprofessional excuses. Finally the supervisor, Fernando answered my call and was ridiculously no better. He never apologized for the experience, or tried to accommodate my request for a refund. Rather, he quoted me company policy that I would have had to cancel 24hours before check in. However, he couldn’t quote me company policy on the quality of service he was to provide for my stay. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Do not stay at Four Points by Sheraton, Houston Hobby Airport. The hotel is nasty. The environment provided is unsafe and unsanitary, and the staff on site is useless. At least the two I encountered were."
"The cheapest location I can find in Houston area, only $90 per night after tax is a good deal. If you are like me who does not drive, taking rides leaving and back to the hotel is a necessity. There is no bus stops nearby. The room and bathroom are both spacious. The problem is that there is a lack of light. Even with all lights on, the room still looks dim, although not a significant issue for me. The shower is not very decent. It still works but water constant goes out from both the shower and the tap. There is no soap in the day I checked in, later, they added a bar of soap. Hotel staff is very friendly. Requests are always responded: a malfunctioned sink gets fixed next day."
