"Our recent stay at Sonesta was truly exceptional. Not only were the accommodations comfortable and the front desk staff incredibly helpful, but we were also pleasantly surprised by the innovative pancake machine at breakfast. It was our first time seeing such a feature, and it added a fun and unique element to our morning routine. Highly recommended for an unforgettable experience!"

"It was such a disappointing experience. Never been to worse hotel than this. The fumes from paint gave me headache. If you’re planning on doing renovations, block off a floor few months at a time and do that by phase to avoid getting yourself into this situation please. Fumes are extremely toxic. Most breakfasts was out when I got down at 9am. Eggs out, sausage out. I had to ask for the batter for waffles. Please avoid at all cost."

"This was probably the worst stay I’ve ever had and I had my daughter with me. The hotel doesn’t look like the online pictures. It’s under construction and there’s no mention of that online. We checked in around 11pm and it was almost midnight by the time we got in because the key didn’t work twice. My daughter laid down because she was exhausted. I went to use the bathroom and the faucet didn’t work but bathtub did. I went to call the front desk and there was no phone in our room so I had to call on my cell phone and the front desk agent who I assume was the night auditor had no answers for the faucet not working or why there was no phone. I asked her to try to call the room and she confirmed there was no phone connected to the room. It was late and we had a flight the next morning. The front desk person said she would leave a note for the manager so someone would call me in the morning. No one ever called. My daughter and I had to watch our face and brush our teeth over the bathtub. When we went down to check out, I attempted to ask questions about why I hadn’t gotten a phone call and explain the issues with the room the agent was uninterested and unapologetic to our experience. I asked for the shuttle since she was very dismissive and just wanted to get out of there. The agent advised shuttle service was unavailable for the time frame we wanted. There was no note or mention of that upon check in so we ended up having to pay for a Lyft to the airport. By far the worst experience ever and this should be considered a motel because I definitely wouldn’t consider it a hotel. Please do not stay at this motel! See pics below!"

"The hotel is currently in the middle of renovations so they are working to really improve future experience for guests, for now though some of the amenities are limited. My room was in good condition, clean sheets, and hot water. They are conveniently close to the airport and have an on demand shuttle that will pick you up and take you to the airport. There are a few restaurants next to the hotel which is nice, from Mexican to Pakistani and Mediterranean cuisines. There is complimentary breakfast each morning. They have a very reasonable room rate for flight crews as well. Once renovations are completed I imagine all amenities will be fully available which will make them a great stay for anybody that needs to be close to IAH."
