"I was staying at the Holiday Inn for Houston Rodeo Cookoff. I stayed here for three nights, all staff was very friendly and helpful. Latoya W. Did a great job answering any questions I had and making me feel welcomed at Houston. I will definitely stay here again when I come back for Rodeo."
"We stayed here 2 nights for monster jam, we LOVED our stay. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the parking (especially if you have a big truck like myself) is absolutely perfect!!! Also the parking is patrolled by security in a gated area. The only thing that I’ll say some people may not like is the beds are kind of hard (but the pillows made up for that. Best pillows ever.) and the toilets was kind of small. Nothing too bad tho. Sometimes the lobby and hallways would have wonky smells (not the hotels fault, the guest create those smells and they try to keep it tidy) also, the rooms have mirrors that have lights built into them, button controlled. That was pretty dope. they have a side door that opens right to the NRG parking lot which was also perfect as we were attending monster jam in NRG stadium. We walked about 10-15 minutes all together to get in. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location!! I think some of the reviews are unfair and things that the hotel cannot control. We enjoyed our stay and we look forward to coming back!! Thanks again for the hospitality guys."
"We booked this hotel since it was next door to NRG Auto Show. It is an older hotel, but not bad with some upgrades. Shower/water closet a bit small and cooling a bit slow. But, overall it was a nice stay and not far from eats. And the staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. I have one major issue. I left a Hydra Pak water bottle in the frig and when I called about it was told it was not found. no one stayed in room after us. So, I am greatly disappointed with the rest of the staff. I put in a lost report and hopefully it will show up. If not, in the future we will not book this hotel due to lack of trust."
"While my fatigue from the road may have contributed to a challenging entrance at the Holiday Inn, the staff's friendliness and efficient check-in process quickly turned things around. The room, despite its spaciousness, unfortunately allowed for a nightly serenade from my rather vocal neighbors, particularly a woman who seemed unfamiliar with the concept of an inside voice. On a positive note, the rooms were well-maintained and boasted a commendable shower pressure. The $7 parking fee, while an additional cost, is worth considering for those traveling by car. In summary, my experience at the Holiday Inn was marked by a mixed bag of ease and challenges. If you prioritize cleanliness and efficient service over absolute silence, it could be a suitable choice for your stay."
"It was an okay hotel. The lobby was very nice and if you’re going to the med center or NRG stadium, it’s great value and location. However, the hallways look “prison-like”. The room was nice and clean, but the bed was hard and uncomfortable, the toilet ran water the ENTIRE time, and the shower pipes were extremely loud and “squeaked” during the entire shower. Water pressure was good, but the restroom was comically small. Day staff was more welcoming than the night staff (who took forever to come out and did her makeup while we checked in). Overall, if you’re looking to go somewhere somewhat nice with about $90-100 a night, this is good. But if you’re looking for something more comfortable to sleep, turn the other way."
